I used to have a very hard time with religion now I just don’t believe in any of them simply because there’s no evidence. I can’t have any faith in anything without seeing evidence. It goes the same for mgtow. Why would a man want to live the life of a monk if you didn’t believe that he was going to get burned by Society at large today. Here’s what I find funny about religion;

If we are not still following the same religion of the first men on Earth, and they evolve and change as time passes, then they’re clearly BS

If religion was truth, truth shouldn’t change and we would still have the same belief structures as 5000 years ago

Since they change, evolve, adapt…It means they’re not based in truth

Funny thing about Leslie Nielsen he was really really good friends with Jason Robards. Exactly. Religion is driven by sophistry and emotions. Others like islam are politically motivated though.

Except that they are subject to human interpretation and current social customs, as well as dealing with moral issues that simply didn’t exist in previous times. It speaks more to the weaknesses of man then it does the actual existence or non-existence of God.

I do think that the very point you bring up though should compel religious types to seriously look at their beliefs through the eyes of others, and question their own perspective on matters.

And to be clear, I’m not trying to make a statement for or against the exist of God or truth of any religion. Just that I don’t think you’re logic really leads to the conclusion you want it to go.
