I would be remiss if I did not thank the countless thousands of you who stopped somewhere along your journey and thought of one brother looking for work. Thank you. Good vibes, well wishes prayers and whatever offerings you made to the employment god paid off…I was given a job offer tonight, pending a background and drug screening.

So, the job, working over night at a very big orange store, building displays and rearranging things so you have a hard time finding s~~~ when you need it most, when your wires are arcing high voltage, your toilet decides to s~~~ all over you, and the weeds are taller than your house. lol

If I am accepted, first thing I’m gonna do is ask for a letter explaining the rate of pay, its a huge drop in pay from the teaching job. Send the letter to the State Bureau of confiscation and misery, and appeal my deal. Awww the c~~~ gets a lot less money next month, pity, my child will starve and waste away. unless Judge F~~~wit f~~~s it all up.

Florida, God bless this state has no income tax…lol.

I was just telling a bro the other day, if my present “GOOD job” was to dry up in the morning for any reason, it would be a “blessing in disguise”. I would be seeking out a night security or convenience store clerk job like I had when I was a kid going to college. In “Many” ways, these jobs are “Better” then my present “career BULLS~~~ job”.

Yeah, the pay would be a lot lower, but at this stage in the game, I really don’t Give a S~~~ Anymore.

Well I thought that I’d just give Theism a shot but it’s now got me in a foul mood. Last week I prayed to Jesus that no innocent little children would be murdered by a crazy parent.

Most religious belief isn’t logical, though there tends to be some sense behind it. Most religions are just attempts to explain certain natural phenomena the causes of which were hidden. Thunder? God did it. Volcanic explosion? God did it. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with that; those were just people doing the best with what they had.

That being said, I believe Catholicism is a perfectly logical and scientific religion. Laugh at me all you want, but most of the greatest spokesmen and apologists for the Catholic Faith were HIGHLY trained in logic and rhetoric, and the Bible itself makes a hell of a lot of sense out of an otherwise crazy world. I’d be perfectly happy to explain and defend any point of the Catholic religion that you find to be nonsensical or illogical (not to hijack the thread or anything, lol).

That’s the spirit! But I wouldn’t worry about trying to justify God’s will. When you were a kid, you probably didn’t understand why your parents made you go to bed at a certain time or wouldn’t let you eat ice cream all day or made you go outside to get some fresh air (assuming your parents did any of these things). It probably felt very unjust and unreasonable, and it didn’t help that when you asked why, you only got the response, “Because I said so!” But guess what? Turns out they had their reasons after all, and they were damned good ones. You can understand this when you’re older because your intellect has matured.

God is our father. We won’t always understand why he does what he does. At times it seems unjust and unreasonable. But God’s smarter than us, and the first step is accepting that and realizing that he has his reasons. Furthermore, just like you can come to understand your parents’ actions over time as your intellect develops, you can come to understand some of God’s reasons better as your faith develops.

Thanks, I’ll keep that in mind. But for now I think I’ll just try the Judaeo\Christian God on and see if it fits me. If things get too messy or too complicated it’s not like aren’t a whole bunch of other gods and belief systems out there for me to choose from…
