Joaquin Phoenix’s Joker Trailer Dropped and it is Red Pill Good.

If the movie is as good as this trailer, Mr. Pheonix will have topped Heath Ledger’s Joker (Dark Knight 2008). That would not be an easy feat to accomplish.

The trailer feels like Fight Club (1999) by way of Pagliacci (1892 Opera) through Taxi Driver (1976).

To quote the Joker from the trailer, “I use to think my life was a tragedy. Then I realized it’s a comedy.”

That is the core of red pill. Rage then laughter. BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!

The trailer is worth a watch:

I really like Joaquin Phoenix, for example in Gladiator, but I was still skeptical. Now, after watching the video, I think you may be right.

All my life I've had doubts about who I am, where I belonged. Now I'm like the arrow that springs from the bow. No hesitation, no doubts. The path is clear. And what are you? Alive. Everything else is negotiable. Women have rights; men have responsibilities; MGTOW have freedom. Marriage is for chumps. If someone stands in the way of true justice, you simply walk up behind them and stab them in the heart-R'as al Ghul.

One has to ask. Why are all the real life villains, such as SJWs/Antifa, so serious? Maybe this film will inspire real life villains that can take a joke, and give one out, painfully.

Personally, I am a watcher. I want to watch the world burn. Why lite the fire when it is better to let those you hate torch the planet. I want to watch all these sanctimonious hypocrites become the very monsters they falsely accuse everyone else of being. I want to watch them lose their minds as they realize their very serious world is nothing but a sick joke that they are the punchline of.

Self-improvement truly is masturbation. And Fight Club in a film where Tyler Durden spends two hours metaphorically slowly rubs one out.

    Think about it. BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!

They called me Batman. They never knew, I was the Joker.

You are all alone. If you have been falsely accused of RAPE, DV, PLEASE let all men know about the people who did this. http://register-her.net/web/guest/home

Not a batman fan, so many totally crap shows, movies, just everything. I did not even watch what Lucas had to say about it until after reading the posts here. This movie just might be something.

Phoenix is a great actor. After watching the trailer, he looks perfect for the Joker role. I hope it will be as good as it looks. Trailers can be very deceiving. Very much anticipating the release of this movie.

The evil in women’s hearts leaves them no moral bounds as to inhibit them from descending to the lowest levels of darkness to acquire their self entitled desires.

I can’t agree. Not fully anyway. There many be some moments, but much of the film doesn’t look like it will jive with MGTOW.

First off, they clearly state that the Joker is mentally unstable, requiring medication. That’s even before he became the Joker. So are we to conclude that MGTOW are also mentally unstable.

Then there is the world in which the Joker lives in. It’s a place where he is bullied relentlessly and treated like he is worthless. Not by women but by other men. At no point in the preview do you see a woman treating him poorly. They even imply that he has a female friend/GF that doesn’t bully him. Along with this, I have no doubt that they will surely slip in some sort of SJW agenda in there.

Maybe most importantly, the Joker’s response is violence. He’s actively trying to bring chaos and have the world burn. Despite the fact that many here share those same thoughts, it’s not MGTOW. It’s not going your own way, it’s destroying everyone else’s way.

I’m not at all saying that it won’t be a good moving, and I’m certainly looking forward to seeing it. I’m saying that I have no doubt that I’ll be throwing out a lot of garbage along with the good. Joker is not going to be my hero or role model.

    Ok. Then do it.

It is like this. The MCU understands their heroes, but not their villains. Except for Thanos, all the MCU villains are generic and feel interchangeable, with similar motives and goals.

DCCU understands their villains, but not their heroes. They want to reinterpret their heroes, but they understand their villains. The Director’s Cut of Suicide Squad is likely the best live action DCCU film and was a villain film.

The irony is the reverse true for the animated departments of these companies.

That is why I said “Red Pill” and not “MGTOW”. Most versions of the Joker are some form of Red Pill, but none of them are MGTOW. The Joker is to violent in all forms to be MGTOW.

Then there is the world in which the Joker lives in. It’s a place where he is bullied relentlessly and treated like he is worthless. Not by women but by other men. At no point in the preview do you see a woman treating him poorly.

Look more closely. Men are more open about being abusive. But, there is no more abusive a person towards a man than a woman whom believes she knows what is best for that man.

At the beginning of the trailer, note the Joker said that his mother told him to always smile, instead him being told to stand up for himself.

Whether by accident or design, the Joker’s mother putting the Joker in the position of caring for her has left him with no time for himself from a social standpoint, in a world that is slowly doing everything in its power to tear him down.

The black woman at the beginning of the trailer asks Joker if talking “helped” him. The Joker’s non-verbal response is clearly his answer and it is not good.

Yea, I intentionally said MGTOW and not red pill. The definitions get blurred a bit. If you define red pill is just the realization of reality rather any reaction to reality, then ok. I still would hesitate to call this a red pill movie because we know that many will not be able to distinguish between realization and reaction.

    Ok. Then do it.

I define “taking the red pill” as a polite way to describe a person having a psychotic break with reality, where by the person rejects society and the person starts to live their life by their own rules. In that way, we are all the “Joker”.

At the beginning of the trailer, note the Joker said that his mother told him to always smile, instead him being told to stand up for himself.

His mother was also mentally ill, as evidenced by the fact that he had to give her baths. It’s hard to claim she represents every woman. A better argument might be that he appears to have lacked a father figure to tell him to stand up for himself.

That means the woman is the cause of his distress?

    Ok. Then do it.

She represents the elderly mother who’s poor decisions have held back her child and whom has allowed herself to become a hardship on her child.

A better argument might be that he appears to have lacked a father figure to tell him to stand up for himself.

    There is that topic, too.

That means the woman is the cause of his distress?

It is a form of neglect to falsely claim to want to help, but only going through the motions by giving insincere empty words of support.

The trailer shows “Arthur” breaking on the inside for all the reasons that happen to so many other men in society in REAL LIFE!!

Hummm in my end of the joke, mgtow looks too coward to be jokers.

I had the perfect excuse to go berserk, to let go, to just spiral down in a spree of violence, death and mayhem, what i did? … I hanged my self… What a pussy, but now i know im a coward, soo all i wanna do is work as little as possible, live a useless, boring, quiet happy life and die of old age (or boredom) in some place away from society and assholes.

Charles manson life had more sense.

    What a bad joke.
