JET boats and Welders!

As most of you know, I am a REAL fan boy of British spirit. Hell, I love most things European. I still think that most Brits are born with Welding skills.

So I came across this today:

Think about this. A Jet boat that you can build at home! Simple skills, and easy to do.

Its amazing how simple this is to do. ANd just about everyone has an old drill motor laying around.

How about something smaller? 3D printers are cheap now. And I have to admit, this is cool!

Now I have a bunch of old Nikko Boats laying around. I think I’m going to give them a power up and a tune up and see if I can make them really fast!

I still have my RC Nikko Super cruiser. I love this thing!

I already have a battery pack made for it and want to throw it in the water soon! I’m going to use some of those Flicker candle LED’s I got, and just spruce it up!

Mine still has the rails on it too!

I have a faster boat, but I just kind of like how this thing just dodels around.

So what toys do you still have that you play with or love?

Go brushless . Got one boat and 3 cars . One of my cars does 120 mph . The boat has a brushed motor but only does about 40 kmh . Good for the shallows in the surf .

I’m about to plunk down money on a kit soon after I ship out a desktop this next month.
I can’t believe how fast electrics have been compared to their Nitro counterparts.

I just wish the cost of some of the stuff would go down. But it never does since most people never really get into the hobby in mass.

Sucks. I still hated it that when I was a kid, those stupid Tyco cars cost an ARM and a LEG!

I still want to get a whole Tyco Train set. I’m still working on trying to get the Bachmann train set I have fixed. Maybe even have it get power from the train tracks instead of using the 9v batteries. Or use LED’s of the same warm hue then the Incandescent lights.
