Under the proposed Myanmar law and what I read in the article, I agree with Old Sage. 5 to seven years seems like the easier road to travel. How long will it be before that law morphs into a monster? How long before they enact a law that continues to punish the men AFTER they get out of prison? Either through forced marriage or a payment system that lasts the duration of the child’s years?
