Its official, the feminist Ghostbusters trailer has 500K down votes on Youtube. I think this is the first movie trailer to get 500K down votes.

Just remember if you don’t see it in the theater you are just a bunch of misogynists. Sorry I can’t keep a straight face when I say that.

Secret shame on me: I think the fat one, Melissa McCarthy, is funny. (There’s no accounting for folk’s taste.) That said, I am not, not, going to buy a ticket to this travesty of a remake. It looks, sounds, and smells like a turkey.

It is. When I went to saw Batman V Superman, I had to sit through this trailer because I didn’t want to miss the other trailers.

The icing on the cake is that it’s not just a blatant feminist propaganda piece, but it also looks to be an unbelievably awful movie. Admittedly the two are probably related, but it’s like they took the “anvilicious feminist propaganda makes for awful movies” trope and ran with it.

I still don’t know what the f~~~ whoever greenlighted this thing was thinking. It’s not just that hollywood is appallingly awful lately, and it is appallingly awful, but also that it’s unbelievably stupid.

I don’t see how this movie could possibly be worth the loss of time to watch, unless it was a Mystery Science Theater scenario where the specific purpose was to have fun cracking jokes and tearing down a very crappy movie.

I recently watched The Revenant with Leo Decaprio, and thought that was very good. Highly recommend it. Definitely not a chick flick.

You can do more research on the director, Paul Feig, if you like. But according to this video, starting at this point, tell me that he isn’t the definition of a Mangina:

I am not one to throw the term “Mangina” around much, but it would seem to fit PauL Feig.

This is an entire agenda thing by Paul and a woman executive at Sony to get more female-centric movies in place, particularly superhero type related.
