I have been reading your posts on this website for quite sometime now and I really feel for those of you who have suffered or are still suffering

I’m 25 and I am so happy to see so many guys feeling the same way not just about Marriage but about women in general ( Double Standards ). I always had the philosophy that whatever situation I was faced with I would look to the future and do whats makes me happy and by watching/learning from other peoples mistakes. So far up until now I haven’t ever been an extremist on any topic and had an open mind about absolutely everything but my god would I fly to the moon and back if it meant something be done about this ( Which I think it won’t in my life time ).

Don’t get me wrong some women can be a kind and sensitive bunch but for whatever reason as soon as they marry a guy its like they turn into the she devil. Is it because they know the guy is trapped and if he decides to leave he will lose everything especially if theres kids involved. Even then it doesn’t stop there, the guy will then suffer for years to come due to alimony and child support. Which if he can’t keep up with the payments even if there’s a valid reason he will then go to jail like seriously??. Even if the women was earning £500,000 a year and he was earning £5,000 a year he still should pay money for childcare and alimony, where’s the logic????.

After finding this website and reading your posts I can safely say I will never get married in my lifetime. I’m hoping you guys have seen the film ‘Saw’ where people get put in a trap and usually to get out have to cause themselves some pain in the meantime otherwise they will die. Now if I was there and the guy on the tv said ‘To survive and see your wife again you need to do bla bla bla or you will die’ I would just sit and be like ‘Meh kill me now, it’s a lot less painful than being in a marriage with a cow’

I haven’t ever been married but due to the ‘watching and learning’ I do every man I see in marriage I noticed are miserable. The wife spends all his money, tells him whats to do then if anything goes wrong it’s his fault even if she made the decision?. Yeah, no thanks ladies I think I will pass. I like having money, freedom and my own dignity.

I tried to understand for quite sometime now why a guy would put up with it. Were they lonely?, arranged marriage?, to lazy to use their hands and wanted a women to do it instead?, got pushed into it by their parents?. Maybe they just put up with it in the hopes they would get sex at least once every 4 months?. Well I didn’t think 20 minutes of happiness every 4 months was worth it for a life time of unhappiness. I know they say ‘That’s why it’s about finding the right one’.. Nope, they are all the same. It doesn’t matter how nice they appear to be on the outside they are all just the same.

I don’t think I want to sacrifice my £8500 Ford Fiesta I just bought or give up the £21,000 I have saved which I am about to put towards a 4 bedroom house with my brother. It also seems to be a lot cheaper just to pay for a prostitute/dominatrix and getting it regularly rather than getting married and living in hope.

What’s funny is I looked on the internet to see what women think of this and they literally have nothing to say other than their usual crap. Then even if there was something vaguely logical she would get shut down quickly by lots of guys.

I find it so sickening to see social experiments where if the guy is being beaten by the girl it doesn’t get stopped and is laughed at. But if it’s the opposite way around then that wouldn’t go down well. I had that experience first hand in my workplace, I complained and made comments but it just got worse. I had a bitch of a supervisor, stuck it out for 3 years ( Played the innocent card and never gave her what she wanted for me to lash out at her ) as I needed the finance experience because it was my first finance job then finally left with my head held high and went to a better job with more money. Only to find she had lost her job 6 months later after I made the comment in my leaving interview ‘If it wasn’t for her I would have easily stayed another 3 years’. Deserved her right.

Freedom – The best thing a man can have which costs nothing, why would you give this away?

The really hard part for me is knowing my mum thinks I will get married one day and have kids. I tried to explain it to her once my views on marriage and even said you are doing the same thing to my dad right now!, which she said she would change her ways ( I have yet to see this happen ).

I’ve got a theory about this:

The most wicked people in law enforcement, war, the judicial system etc. are the ones who have been given power over others without having character. A micro example of this can be found at the Department of Motor Vehicles. Other examples can be found in POW stories. The only man who should ever get power is one who never wanted it. The acceptance of power should be from a sense of duty, and then relinquished when the job finished. Marriage vaults a woman into a position power to literally control life and death of a man and his children. They go from garbageman to prison guard and the results are spilling onto these pages.

Good point all, but this one really hit me:

I believe that deeeeeeep down, all of us know what is right and wrong. Society confounds these senses by the use of consequences they use to mold behavior. We have been “de-moralized”. A woman, like an animal, will do whatever she can get away with.

The only loss is actually illusory. You have a picture in your head of what it is supposed to be like, marriage, family life, etc. And you think you are sacrificing that. But that does not exist in reality. So you are only giving up on a dream. Sad, but true.
