It’s pretty easy: if she regularly take money from a man, then it’s a LTR. In example my ex wife is doing it with a man, acoukd demonstrate she’s in a LTR by simply checking her bank accounts and bills, but it would be useless since I give support for children, not for her too, so there’s no alimonies to withhold.

Be careful, in the long run they could even slightly change the game by actually equally sharing expenses: If there’s a shared bank account and both persons are equally contributing to it, that makes her eligible to access to your OTHER bank account. So if you have more money than her, you’re still f~~~ed.
Example:
Bank account 1, shared: both man and woman use it and contribute to it, totally equal, no parasitism here. It’s a bank account for bills and little expenses, always under 5k.
Bank account 2: his personal account, 20 times larger, used for investments.

The actual term they use is “meaningful relationship”, “meaningful” meaning that there’s a shared bank account, you pay some of her bills / she pays some of your bills.

You keep going on about shared bank accounts, but who the f~~~ actually does that?
While I don’t live in Australia or Canada, it’s my understanding that these two countries also have this variations of this law as well. In Australia they have what they call a “defacto relationship” that courts recognize a man and woman are in after simply “presenting themselves in public” for a period of time even though they may not have ever lived together. Canadian courts have something similar but depends on the the province and whether or not they had a kid together.
