When you ask people where they want to travel to. They will say places. Never do they have a list like I do of places I want to go to.

    The Factory of Dreams.

If there is one thing I am going to do, I am going to make this place look great again. I don’t want to see such a marvelous creation like this be lost to time and history.

When I think of Italian, I think of passion without compromise. In a way, it reminds me of the old France. The Old Paris. The Old FIGHT of the soul of Mankind.

Jay Leno did an amazing job on this video about the EB-110. Check it out if you are a care buff.

Eric, you better speak english, cuz when I get there, you are going to do the translation for me so I can go to the local “Home Depot” and get some supplies and I am going to start cleaning up the place with the caretaker.

It can’t be left like this. Never..

    Last one.

Bugatti’s were made for people like Jay Leno that collect cars like the average person collects returnable soda cans.

Why they may have been this or that in the world of “super cars” one thing is for certain; it’s that none of them will ever take up a spot at my house, and that has nothing to do with desire.

Bugatti has about as much to do with my present and future plans as Ferrari, Lamborghini ETC ETC ETC

I’ve always been fascinated with Bugatti. Etori Bugatti was like an enigma.
There’s a company in Argentina called Pur Sang who makes incredible immaculate replicas of the pre war Bugatti cars. I’d love to have a Type 35.
Check out that amazing airplane Bugatti was making to set a speed record that was hidden from the Germans before they invaded France.

And this French family who maintains and restores pre war Bugatti cars. Imagine powersliding a supercharged straight eight! I’d love to.https://youtu.be/sLNiFENrSkI

For the longest time Bugatti had bad marketing. The 110 should have had sales on the same level as the other super cars of the era. All of that changed when VW took over and made the Chiron. Now everyone knows the name for more then just the type 57.

Go for it Mickey. And the best thing is you don’t have to beg for “permission” from a wife or anyone to go — or listen to gripes and complaints while you’re visiting a place that’s important to you.

I'm going my own way. Maybe I'll see you there.

Say what you want. To each his own. I own several cars, trucks, trailers, motorcycles, race cars, and garages full of stuff. No airplanes or boats…for now. I’m pretty happy with all that Jazz especially after yesterday’s race. I’ve never owned a Lambo or Ferrari but I’ll share what it’s like to hustle a Pre war Bugatti up The Goodwood Festival of Speed hill climb.

Poor boy. Learn how to operate a lathe or shim a door hinge if that’s allowed in your country or if you get permission from your government. Maybe you won’t be such a septic tank leakage on this forum…but that’s apparently what you live for. Start with piracetam. How much longer do you think you will live?

It’s not the car. It was the MEN behind the cars. The HISTORY behind the brand.

Would I own one? I could. But it’s not the fact that I have it. Bimbo’s and Chads buy car’s to attract attention. It’s the Feeling that a car gives me that makes me want to own it.

Gentleman, I understand that many of you will never be able to relate to the way I see things. For most of you, it’s just an object. Nothing more. I guess I am lucky in a way. Along with a few others. You just don’t see what others are able to appreciate.

I have some Fine Leather shoes. They were made by a craftsman. I enjoy them.

I have Compacts disks. Some are 30 years old.

I own things of great design.

I enjoy life. And I enjoy all because some man before me made it so I could. And I appreciate that. Just like I don’t take ANY OF YOU for granted.

Here is what gets me. All you are thinking about is the car. I’m not sure if you understand the HISTORY. This is YOUR HISTORY. And I am sorry that some don’t see it that way. It was never about the car, the brand the badge. None of it. It’s the Story of man. It’s a great story. With so many tales to tell.

I hate to be blunt. But people like you are the reason why our world is such a cluster f~~~. Everything that was valuable, you left to the heathens to devour. And yet, those with the sour notes complain each day why it is this way. It’s ironic. And I’m being very tactful in my words.

It’s not the building. It’s not the car.

This was LIFE man. This was the GREAT Europe I loved. The Great HOPE of a better future. It was the Catalyst for Idea’s. And looking forward to the future.

I know you don’t care. You have been beaten down so hard, you forget what value their is in keeping the greatness of the past alive.

I love this world. I really do. And thankfully, I can appreciate the wonder of a vision of ONE MAN starting something extraordinary. Shared by MILLIONS. And enjoyed by the few.

Every time I see a news like that, my soul dies a little. It is like if the gears who once moved the world are slowly coming to a halt, and I wonder who may be this modern era John Galt.

There is a certain feeling that a supercar or a hypercar wants to evoke, something long forgotten since the day of our great-grandfathers, which is the sensation of freedom, when you have an open road and a fast “steed” under your ass. It is the fast wind blowing on your face, the cold touch of the air, rushing by, the sound of the wind rushing around your ears… And your heart beating faster, knowing that your next move may be your last, living with your heart on your sleeve.

It is the story of a man, who was so in love with speed, that he decided that NO OTHER CAR was fast enough, no matter how he could improve them, no matter how much he could change the project that once was, so he decided to make his own, despite ALL the difficulties, despite ALL the naysayers. It is the story of how a PASSIONATE MAN could build an empire, based on a product that became the epitome of a car, that put the “super” and “hyper” in front of a single word: car.

It is the untold hours of sweat, blood and tears, alone in his office, trying to reach perfection. HIS perfection. His meaning of “paradise”, which was a car seat, strapped to a low flying rocket ship, cruising the land faster than anyone else, doing corners at speeds that others considered impossible.

It is the story of a man and his effort to push the boundaries, to show us all that LIMITS EXISTS TO BE BROKEN, that limitations are for fools, and that ALL man that wants to be MORE than just “a man” has to RELENTLESSLY pursue the end point, just to blow them up and push it a little to the side.

Thanks a lot, Mr. Etori Bugatti. Because of you, I can race today, in my “steed” of iron, rubber, copper and leather, running up and down, flying so low that the Earth seems like it is stopped, and the only thing I can see and feel is the roar and the rumble of the engine, rushing the shifting wind that is my short life.

"Young was I once, I walked alone, and bewildered seemed in the way; then I found me another and rich I thought me, for man is the joy of man." Odin, Hàvamàl, stanza 47.
