It took 48 years for me to realise……..

….that my life would’ve been much happier if I’d stayed a bachelor and concentrated on my own welfare.

I’m currently living back home in the North of Ireland, or Northern Ireland depending on how you see the politics there. I was a soldier, then a contractor for 15 years, in Iraq, then Afghanistan, then anti-piracy in the Red Sea. I sent much of that money home to support a wife who was a functioning alcoholic. Two ectopic pregnancies, three IVF attempts and the marriage broke up in 2013. I have since squandered everything I earned, losing friends over there and damn near getting killed myself more than once, on another woman who had no real income. I came home in 2014, after a particularly nasty attack in Afghanistan inside the hotel we were living in with clients. I was one of the first on the scene, next day was out of a job as our clients thought the situation too unsafe. Their boss was a woman.

I met one last woman back home, but the pain of this break up has been the last straw. I knew about MGTOW and the manosphere, and PUAs and alt right, gamergate etc, simply by being a contractor with nothing to do at night but watch DVDs or surf the net. I never gave it much thought. But now I’m through with women, I don’t hate them, they have been conditioned – just like blue pilled men – to accept how society is so gynocentric and anti-male that it’s not worth the bother of trying to live with them and accommodate their demands and constant needs.

I will be looking out for myself from now on, I must build from the bottom, as I’m bankrupt and will be building a business by myself, for myself, and my dog. I will have male friends, guys to fish with and have a pint with down the pub. I am finished with this society’s rules, don’t watch TV and will check in here as probably 95% of my internet time

Minimilism can help in avoiding the waste of money needed to keep up with consumerist norms. Self reliance is the goal and this includes not relying on loans to fund a lifestyle you can’t afford. With this in mind, an average paying job can provide for a comfortable life.

Be aware that as your wealth increases so does your attraction to Goldiggers. If you still feel you need women in your life, view them as they do you. A Short Term Utility.

Re-evaluate what you really need to be happy, and also who are genuine friends and who are fair weather friends. Don’t be a sucker for anyone anymore.

This was the kind of line I was thinking of taking. Setting up my own small one man business, moving somewhere quiet and cutting out all the normal consumer fodder we accept as “achievement” in life – just keep an internet connection and a phone for work and keep a small neat place where I can live in peace with my dog. And a spit n sawdust (i.e. not female compatible) gym within running distance. Keep it minimal, spartan – not hard for a veteran.
