At my local gym that I frequent there is a new female employee that has been working there for a couple/few months.

She truly appears to be genuinely one of the nicest and friendliest people that I have ever met.

She is always in a very upbeat mood, and greets everyone with a very infectious smile as well.

Additionally, she’s always stays very busy, and is not a lazy person. To top it off she’s not exactly hard on the eyes, and has a petite figure as well.

Anyways, I was talking with one of my gym acquaintances today, and come to find out she’s older than I had thought, but doesn’t look it, and according to him available etc. etc. etc.

I half-jokingly told him that was his “prime opportunity”. Being an older man than myself, he said that he was good (HE GETS IT.), but he suggested that maybe I should pursue it as we are closer in age, and that I too look good for my age blah, blah, blah.

I told him that I had enough problems with one resident hag that I can’t wait to get rid of, and as nice as this one may “appear” to be, and for argument sakes lets say ahe probably IS as genuine as she appears; It/She doesn’t change the FACT that I still have no interest or desire for a replacement model.

It just feels GOOD to KNOW that your future doesn’t have to include a woman in it, but to actually appreciate the fact that your future is better off WITHOUT ANY WOMAN IN IT.

As tempting as she may seem on the surface, there is one or more guys out there who got tired of her sh1t, otherwise she wouldn’t be single.

My ex-GF was a lot like that: petite, looked good for her age, very friendly personality. But AWALT — it always turns into the same ol’ crazy sh!t show. She turned my home into a prison and a personal hell.

Something I have to ask. I wonder if women have some kind of Biological programming that as soon as they are paired with one person, or they are valued only for things other then Physical things, maybe that’s when that Bitch-Switch goes off.

The summer after high school .. I had a small lawn care business and mowed lawns for people around town. I worked for one couple who were building a new house, she was always so exited about everything .. and wanted to show off the new home. The following spring I called on them to see if they wanted me to mow the next season .. he answered the door and said she had moved back east, the house had just been sold and they were getting divorced. The last one I was with had all those qualities “at the start” – when she had the ring she turned into a bitch in hindsight she had narc / mental issues that she hid well. Life in the house was like also like a prison for me.. I had to leave for my sanity. I had ignored the warning signs.. I should have ended it earlier. I should have also rationalised why was a such a good looking woman in her thirties not been married.

Here’s the thing though: All those qualities you see at the start ARE a signal of a narcissist. When they are single they are like a hummingbird, going around from feeder to feeder getting a little bit of energy from everyone they see. They MUST be liked by everyone. It’s only when they attract a mate (sucker, host) that they turn into a leech sucking the life out of you. At the same time, EVERYONE in the gym thinks she’s great and there must be something wrong with you.

The hot girl that everyone thinks is great IS the narc. It’s the tell. You just have to learn to see it.

I think that it’s just how are brains are wired. We see a very attractive woman and just can’t imagine her as being a total kunt! It’s like seeing a really nice, sporty looking car and just assuming that it handles and rides wonderfully.

It’s the only way to live. Who the hell would want to live with a woman at all and for the rest of your life? I had a wonderful relaxing, peaceful evening at home last night and it’s been that way every single night since my divorce. I drank a few beers without being bitched at for it and I heated up some leftover baked ziti whenever the hell I felt like it. I watched whatever I wanted on TV and when I was not watching TV, it was pure wonderful silence.

A slightly amusing part of the divorce, she kicked me out of “our” house. I move out. We get the divorce. Then, not long after, she decides she wants to get back together. I of course am in it just for all the sex we were having. Not long after this started, she said, “You haven’t changed a bit……this isn’t going to work.” I guess she thought that after she kicked me out, I’d come crawling back, having “learned my lesson”. What a damn fool she is. I finally had my wonderful freedom and she thought I’d want to put the chains back on? Her stupidity is laughable.

Free and living alone. Sure makes every day so much nicer. I’m usually in a pretty good mood, especially when I’m headed home to my little house of freedom and solitude.
