Obviously its too early to speculate – and there’s no evidence so far to suggest anything other than deluded, marginalized and religiously motivated perpetrators BUT the arguments for a false flag might be something like this [Note this is an attempt at a politically neutral analysis]:

1] Since calling an election Theresa May’s polling has dropped and there would be potential concern in some circles that far from ensuring “Strong and Stable” government, the election could produce a reduced majority or even a hung parliament and minority government. Producing potential economic chaos for big business, less clear path forward for Brexit and a weakening of the Military. (based on stated policies of Labour party & Jeremy Corbin)

2] With the backdrop of failing support there’s potential for part of “the establishment” to want to bring about a control of the pre-election media mindset. Anything that takes focus away from failures in NHS and escalating costs of higher education or stories of pensioners dying due to combinations of poor healthcare & poverty issues.

3] Conservative party in UK have traditionally been viewed as “strong” on Law & Order. Any focusing of the political debate into the area of Law & Order favours the Conservative party. Furthermore the xenophobic “keep them out” right side of politics are afraid that any outcome other than a Conservative government will result in an increase in immigration.

4] Terrorist activity with an islamic slant in UK will always dominate the news cycle (addressing point 2] above) and strengthen the effect of point 3] above. As such – politically any islamic terrorist activity in UK gives advantage to the Conservative party. FUrthermore – spreading that activity around multiple locations (London & Manchester) ensures the ‘heat’ of terrorism is felt nationwide and not seen as just an issue for those in the capital.

If you had the power to influence a small group of radicalised muslims by calling on their powerful (and misguided) religious beliefs, then it might be seen as a smart tactic to ensure the correct political outcome. Easy to lay blame on an islamic patsy, easy for the islamic patsy to feel like they are motivated by Jihad on the west, whilst still serving the greater good of ‘civilised’ society and international corporate well being.

Like I said – there’s ABSOLUTELY NO EVIDENCE – of this at all. But it’d be a perfectly reasonable plot for a series of “24” of something similar.

I’m not for suggesting I think its a likely explanation – just that it is a possible one.

Means – What means? Not exactly a sophisticated or expensive or even large scale conspiracy required.
Motive – As discussed above. Plenty of motive for powerful establishment figures to desire this kind of event.
Opportunity – Yep, no doubt shadowy figures in MI5/6 might have contacts sufficiently well groomed to do this!

Until someone comes up with some evidence however, I’m happy to dismiss this as no more than “moderately plausible foil-hat” stuff.
