    Warning, rape triggers. The safe room will have lollipops and re-runs of Sesame Street.

    Is it possible that the new yes means yes campaign has included coercive sex, where a guy talks a girl into having sex, was inspired by what might be the first stirrings of Rape Culture???

    Here are some timeless examples of blatant coercive sexual come on’s from the 1600’s, possibly the first evidence of the patriarchy’s use of coercive language to gain entrance to the stank taco.

    Robert Herrick, 1600’s

    “To the Virgins, to Make Much of Time”

    Gather ye rosebuds while ye may,
    Old Time is still a-flying;
    And this same flower that smiles today
    To-morrow will be dying.
    The glorious lamp of heaven, the sun,
    The higher he’s a-getting,
    The sooner will his race be run,
    And nearer he’s to setting.
    That age is best which is the first,
    When youth and blood are warmer;
    But being spent, the worse, and worst
    Times still succeed the former.
    Then be not coy, but use your time,
    And, while ye may, go marry:
    For having lost but once your prime,
    You may forever tarry.

    Andrew Marvell, 1600’s

    “To His Coy Mistress”

    Had we but world enough, and time,
    This coyness, Lady, were no crime
    We would sit down and think which way
    To walk and pass our long love’s day.
    Thou by the Indian Ganges’ side
    Shouldst rubies find: I by the tide
    Of Humber would complain. I would
    Love you ten years before the Flood,
    And you should, if you please, refuse
    Till the conversion of the Jews.
    My vegetable love should grow
    Vaster than empires, and more slow;
    A hundred years should go to praise
    Thine eyes and on thy forehead gaze;
    Two hundred to adore each breast,
    But thirty thousand to the rest;
    An age at least to every part,
    And the last age should show your heart.
    For, Lady, you deserve this state,
    Nor would I love at lower rate.

    But at my back I always hear
    Time’s wingèd chariot hurrying near;
    And yonder all before us lie
    Deserts of vast eternity.
    Thy beauty shall no more be found,
    Nor, in thy marble vault, shall sound
    My echoing song; then worms shall try
    That long preserved virginity,
    And your quaint honour turn to dust,
    And into ashes all my lust:
    The grave’s a fine and private place,
    But none, I think, do there embrace.

    Now therefore, while the youthful hue
    Sits on thy skin like morning dew,
    And while thy willing soul transpires
    At every pore with instant fires,
    Now let us sport us while we may,
    And now, like amorous birds of prey,
    Rather at once our time devour
    Than languish in his slow-chapped power.
    Let us roll all our strength and all
    Our sweetness up into one ball,
    And tear our pleasures with rough strife
    Through the iron gates of life:
    Thus, though we cannot make our sun
    Stand still, yet we will make him run.

    Literally the coercive rapists oldest trick in the book. I say there is no room for rape apology in the most classic collections of poetry and should be banned! Set the pyre, burn the books.

    #icethemout; Remember Thomas Ball. He died for your children.

    Marriage is coercive rape … of men.

    If you are MGTOW when you are young you have no heart.
    If you're not MGTOW when you are 20 you have no brain.

    You disgusting rapist. I’m soiled for life by that bile 😃

    The first poem sounds more like ‘f~~~ me before you hit the wall’

    Coercion … yes maybe …. rape … well  I don’t thinks so …. which means yes, it’s rape … probably.

    Well it will be if Hitllary gets in.

    Well it will be if Hitllary gets in.

    If that happens, men breathing will be rape.

    I made a haiku about f~~~ing wome before they hit the wall:

    You’re still fresh so let us bang
    Cause soon your titties will start to hang

    It is a common failing of childhood to think that if one makes a hero out of a demon the demon will be satisfied.

    If a woman has a drink before she reads 50 shades she can’t be consenting so that’s rape. quick arrest the male authors of all female romantic novels, it’s mind rape. damn the patriachy and their rape culture. they’re so sneaky, how did we not spot this before

    /sarcasm off

    Females will define “rape” in any manner that is convenient, therefore the titular question is absurd.

    Stupid Question unless this is extreme satire

    It's only after we've lost everything that we're free to do anything
