I think it’s probably quite likely that women’s studies are falsifying research on video game violence to manipulate the outcome they want. That’s what they did with domestic violence research.

I’ve not seen the studies so I can’t conclude for certain, but my first place would be to suspect falsified reports and look at the studies and see who wrote them and whether they were based on proper scientific principles of research.

That’s the feminist modus operandi for anything feminists don’t like.

The gamergate mess already killed much of the gaming industry.

Most of the recent good games are made outside of the U.S.

The game industry already has a ratings system.

Also, if you noticed, most games are sold online, which require a debit/credit card, which requires a adult at some level to be involved.

Part of the problem is female (women tend to be more cowardly and fearful) and part of the problem is human (humans are terrible at accurate risk perception).

Attempts to manipulate women voters are often around issues of personal safety or security, when the statistics show that men are much more likely to be victims of violent crime than women.

As much as I care that my American brothers may become “gameless”, the rest of the world will thrive with it.

So, I propose a solution:

Let Trump pander to the bitches and ban games. We can work in a measure to buy games through places like Steam, in other countries, and pay it through a bill, like they do In Brazil, that does not require a debit/credit card.

Even if that does not work, you guys can setup a paypal account that can send money overseas, so that someone can purchase you games as a “gift” on Steam.

It wouldn’t be hard for me to believe Trump thinks they do cause violence in some way. Perhaps on some level there is more of a case for it than just blaming everything on guns themselves. However I think it’s simply a scapegoat for any and all politicians when the public are looking for something external to point fingers at.

Until we can all be accountable and call out s~~~ty parents, particularly single mothers, the latest or most popular craze will always fit the crime. It’s these parents that are buying their children age inappropriate games and not even caring to try to give some kind of context; they’re happy to have a virtual babysitter. Chances are, the neglect has much more of an effect than any game of any kind could.

That was my argument back when Jack Thompson was taken seriously, and it has not changed. Liberals want to pretend that if you take guns away outright, there won’t be any crime and we’ll be safe. Whenever anyone brings up the myriad of other types of violence, it’s brushed off as being less significant. So I guess it’s ok if only a few less victims are harmed or maimed as long as it’s specifically not a gun.

Stopping family court from destroying families would actually go a long way to preventing children from ending up like this but no, women could never do any wrong. Let’s just trample over peoples’ rights to self defense and entertainment.
