One thing that was not mentioned, might be a better explanation. After wife marries beta/simp husband she is truly disgusted with him and herself. The thought of sex begins being repulsive. She eats and gains so she has an excuse to turn down sex. “I feel fat.” “I am not sexy”. It is a defense mechanism IMHO.
