Is There A Way To Speed Up A Medicaid Application To Get Approval?
For the American guys here on the forums… I have a family member in the U.S. who is paying out of pocket while waiting for their Medicaid application to be approved. Is there any means to expedite the processing of an application for Medicaid, so that my family member doesn’t have to continue paying out of pocket for months, while waiting for the application to be processed?
I would greatly appreciate any tips or leads from any of you bros in the U.S. that may know something in this respect. Thank in advance. PONR

I also understand that once my family member is approved for Medicaid, that any out of pocket payments made to the clinic in the interim cannot be reimbursed retroactively, is this true?

Absolutely sir. Had my relative lived 7 more days Medicare would have reimbursed the care facility. $80,000.00. Funny how that works? Good luck, Godspeed brother.

I’m on Medicaid and the process IS long. When I started in December 2014, I got approved in just a few days or weeks, I don’t remember, It was fast. Every year since then when I have to reapply, the process takes me from October to January to get approved. I got approved fast because I was already in the government system for having benefits already; I don’t know what takes months every year after that for me.
