What I see in a number of MGTOW videos would be a MGTOW version of scifi Armageddon.  It is this sort of delightful glee that somehow there will be a mass revolt of men who will go MGTOW, get artificial wombs, produce men only and get rid of women once and for all, and all will be paradise as MGTOW lead the revolt for liberation for men.  Or, it is something like that.  I saw it pop up at least several times in a Sandman predicts a future video, and other ones also.   I say the moment artificial wombs and the equivalent of human cloning will take place (if it happens) a ton of factors will come into play, and we very likely aren’t going to get this utopia, but I can see corporations engineering humans for their workforce, and make them asexual to do work needed, and other things that will then cause the government to get involved, and possible uprisings,  which the war against gynocentrism I don’t see will be the main focus of it (but it can be seen as part of it).

Am I missing something?  Is there some sort of MGTOW utopia after an Armageddon that will hit, that will force women to suddenly change?  Or, is there just some men around MGTOW who are in such a need to for a religious experience, they are spinning these stories of some utopian future, so they stick with MGTOW like it is a religion?  And note, I am trying to reach for the right words here on this, as I know I am going to offend someone in even trying to type this.

I just think the future will get weird and go in ways no one expects, and I personally believe that wishing for an extreme revolution puts you at least of even odds of things getting worse.

Who knows, we might end up with a future scenario where men and women move to different planets and both reproduce (only their own gender) by way of technology, like in in the anime Vandread. In a decade or two, humanity may well get that option. Or it may go the Zentran/Meltran route, à la Macross. I kinda doubt it’ll go that far, though. At least, I hope not. And with this, I thought the idea of MGTOW is that collectivists push these views, but MGTOW is going you own way and avoid marriage because of the tons of issues with it.  Practically it means bargaining for a better state in one’s own life, and just live what works, so you avoid your own personal Armageddon.

Kudos there.  I can swear that some in the MGTOWosphere are secretly delighting in being able to prove they were correct in how the world would turn out… when they were dead.  I feel that is a bit pointless.  I think individuals who want that out of MGTOW should go find a religion or something, if they long for this after dead being proven right.
