I didn’t get any stimulus checks!
All I got was outrageous fuel prices, the highest tax increases ever with all the real estate taxes more than doubled and tripled. I got higher operating costs on all fronts that cost me two businesses (both construction and trucking), DEAD DEAD, shot in the head!
It made more economic sense to cancel all the plates, trailers and truck, liquidate much of the construction tools and equipment, start a mini-farm and grow my own fruit and veggies. Easier on the mind (way less bills to pay) .

I didn’t get any cash for my clunker!

I’m still driving it and the rust is still eating it.

    I didn’t get a wall street bailout

I rode my stocks to the bluepill bottom so gallantly full of hope the fall would stop happening. When the stock elevator smashed through the bottom floor @fractions of a penny on the dollar, I sold the tech stock and was labeled a day trader, a couple years later I got a letter from Ameritrade that my last remaining scraps were sold off to pay the “inactivity fee” I was unaware of (while Wall Street billionaires and bankers alike were being bailed out to the tune of Six Trillion (FREE MONEY).

Those of us without a formal education should be granted tuition cash if they decide to make tuition free. No? Equality right?

These are the one-two-three punches that knocked the middle class down to poverty and even lower than the recipient class citizen and illegal alien.

My cure for this ailment is to discontinue paying taxes and stop contributing. The fees, the licenses, the insurance, all that s~~~, out the window, they made business economically impossible, stole all the money and threw us into debt slavery with a destroyed economy, f~~~ it! NFG…

All I know is I’m surrounded by urban ruins grown over by forest infestation, Social Security was a lie, and all that Washington D.C. talk-shake-shuffle-“n”-jive is somewhere on a different planet from where I transmit this post from.

So, my question to you while sitting in these economic bombed out ruins from endless over taxation to keep the scam running, do you think the nightmare is actually over, or more of the same old s~~~, different day, different president?

My feelings? Hope in the rustbelt is something made of legend and myth.

Even if we truly have a new beginning, we have been digging this hole for far, far too many years. Even if we do the right things from here on out, it’s going to take years.

Tower, I was in out in traffic and saw a hideous female driving a car with Massachusetts plates. I automatically assumed she was a feminist and showered her with some Southern inhospitality. I took a gap in traffic leaving her stuck sitting to wait for the next opening. She thought I was going to be a gentleman and let her through. I would have had the plates been from any other State.

You should have gotten in front of her and slammed the the brakes, that’s what I did when a slow driving C~~~sichusetts turd c~~~ 10 miles under the speed limit punched it and held me in the oncoming lane just to teach me some kind of lesson for waiting for a passing lane, I slammed the brakes so f~~~ing hard and to a dead f~~~ing stop wanting and hoping she would rearend me, she was sideways in the other lane trying to avoid me, then I quietly drove away.

I’m serious, you should have ran her into a f~~~ing tree!

I closed a business down in the Obummer era, my taxes went up, s~~~ stocks and moved into metals.

Stealth, Silver was truly a silver lining on any of the investments I made, a 100 Troy oz bar I made over 3,000 return, and just when I needed the money, same with equipment, a friend just handed me another grand of the money he owes me, liquidation is the only thing that floated me through the Obortion years.

Try starting a business during the Obama years. I know a lot of people who had to do exactly that as no one will hire for good reason. I had to hire myself to start working again.

I was in a meeting with some business owners last week. They know they are overworking their employees and do not like it as it affects productivity. Lift the regulatory monster and the hiring will begin again. Axing Ovomitcare will be a great start, but there is so much to be undone. Everyone I work for seems to be running with about 1/2 the staff they had 8 years ago. One guy has automated everything to avoid hiring. He landed a fat contract that he could not have landed if he had more than 10 employees due to an arcane OSHA regulation.

A roofer friend of mine told me of a Mexican roofing crew that got fined by OSHA while on a residential job for using a microwave to heat up their lunch.

@MT: I was in the Mustang. I could not entertain the thought of her getting wounded in action.

@SF: I took your advice and am learning how to run mud.

Take out the ford PU after you fill the doors, fenders, and bumpers with reinforced concrete, if things don’t change, someday I may be the one driving the bulldozer down main street.

    Whiplash!!!!!!

That’d pay for a brand new truck.

If it were a man from Massachusetts, I would have been more cooperative unless I saw an indication it was a mangina a man bun for instance.

Men don’t leave Messachusetts, they’re either impoverished, enslaved, imprisoned or dead.

New Hampshire? Home of the king pothole? Real estate tax so high it promotes abandonment? I’ve seen places in New Hampshire even more scarier than Vermont! But not as scary as Maine, both places it’s common not to have electricity, and the electrical grid that does exist was put in when Ford introduced the Model T. If you do find reasonable priced property the winter winds exceed 200 MPH! Hitting deer is bad enough, but there even a reinforced cage can’t stop a moose from coming in the car to greet you on the highway doing 70! And the snow you get up in the presidential range, F~~~ THAT! I was on Mt Washington in a lightning storm, it was like something out of a science fiction movie! F~~~ THAT TOO!!!

You want nothing at all to do with 200 MPH winds. 100 MPH winds are about where the real fun just starts beginning.

Ever see pebbles blow uphill? I have, it’s above the treeline, and the trees don’t exist not from high altitude, but rather from ice, wind, and lightning. The saplings can’t survive. only Norwegian grass survives! Even the rocks themselves wither away. Every few years some chump expert skier or climber thinks 6,000 ft. is nothing, by the end of the day they’re dead.

    I’m sleeping through…

Farm taxes tripled twice and a half. If you don’t bank average rental money you lose the property >that’s just to pay property taxes. Farming is unlivable without a thousand acres and a capital bankroll.

I’m not yet over the edge but I see it. It moves nearer.
