No where in the article does it say that Disney is contemplating giving Elsa a girlfriend, just that there has been suggestions from the outside that they should.

I personally don’t have a problem with outside bit characters displaying the possibility of being gay. That fits reality. I just don’t want any movie to preach values to my kids that they are not ready to understand, and don’t really lead to good character. They can discuss topics of tolerance and understanding without getting into sexuality.

Heck, that is exactly what the Zootopia movie is about. The primary character is a bunny who’s trying to prove that she’s trying to prove she’s tough enough to be a cop. Yet in the process of doing so, she assumes she can trust the sheep, because they’re sheep, and can’t trust the fox, because he’s a fox. Incorrect on both accounts, realizing what a hypocrite she is. Why in the world would you need to throw in sexuality? Kids are smart enough to take a lesson learned and apply it elsewhere. It’s adults who are too stupid to see the lesson and assume it couldn’t possibly apply to them.

yeah, it’s a social justice hijack. disney used to be about telling good stories and creating fantasies for all families to enjoy. now it’s becoming a political tool for social engineering. not sure how disney would have felt about that. i know i don’t like it. leave kids alone. i would like to say i don’t spend money on disney but i think they’re in bed with a lot of companies and maybe i do without knowing it.

To fair, that has been a joke for quite a while. It would be no surprise if Tony leans both ways.

Though, Marvel Comics is not going to make Steve Rogers/Captain American like men. Because, if Steve was bisexual, Marvel Civil War would have ended with Steve and Tony eloping. And everyone but Steve and Tony would have seen it coming. I am sure someone joked with them “to get a room”.

Now, as for lesbian Disney princesses. Without altering the presented characters, I can see a few of the Disney princesses already being lesbians. The top two would be Merida from Brave, and Elsa from Frozen. Neither shows any interest in men that way.

Honestly, Merida seemed to be butch in the film, Brave. And Elsa prefer to distance herself from others. Though, both of them were faced with going crazy due to being stuck in the roles they were in, instead of going crazy, they both try to leave and go their own way. I actually respect those two characters for doing so.

I was tempted to post this and do my own spin. I saw this also, with the hashtag campaign and HuffPost saying Tradcons were evil for saying they want her to have a prince.

My take is, this is more Blue Pill thinking. We are talking a kid’s film. Why can’t she just not have anyone? Why can’t she just go her own way? No, Blue Pill thinking is that she MUST have someone. This is a kid’s film and possible franchise. I got fed up with the SJWsphere starts talking about lesbian love in the first film, because of the love SISTERS had for one another. They wanted to make it gay. It is so normal to make love something sexual.
