Firstly this is not a rant ….. in fact quite the opposite.

All new mgtow.com members SHOLD introduce themselves and tell us ‘a little’ of what brought them here.

In my mind there are several reasons for this:

1. Good old fashioned courtesy
2. It tells everyone who they are, their background, how old, working or school etc.
3. Warning signs that they may need immediate help or advice
4. The chance to be greeted and welcomed. Making it easier for them to get involved
5. Guided towards the archive if not already done
6. Tuna detection

Thoughts please gents and add subtract to above list.

That’s a good one.
I always ask the Newcomers when they start a topic, for a short introduction if they are in the mood.
Also interesting is to mention the place where they live, Country and/or State. Knowing someone here who lives just around the corner makes it  more familiar and shows us all how far MGTOW is going and growing. I guess lot of MGTOWs like to travel around the world, and have explored other countries, good for conversations anyway.

Both of these, if thoughts are to flow freely.

MGTOW deserves both and will attain both simultaneously, but how?

how much tuna is currently within the ranks?    the shadow knows ie KM

how many ideal mentors are gone from here for ID reasons.  the good they would have done – – –

this is not to take away from the other four reasons, it’s just to point out the quandry. It’s like if you build a balsa model to fly, it may not survive a crash and built to survive crashes models don’t fly worth a crap.

Society asks MGTOWs: Why are you not making more tax-slaves?

I do not want to see that happen here. The only way to get rid of the trouts hiding in the shadows is to use invasive measures which will probably do more harm than good. I’m content as long as they are forced to stay quiet and remain undiscovered because as soon as they start talking, it will be obvious and they’ll get kicked out.

Hi Rennie,
I agree that this is a risk in social Networks but do you think it depends on the subject? I think when it happens it can always happen, but less in giving an introduction then more in telling an opinion.

Before I joined here, I joined at mgtowhq.com. I gave the exact same introduction there as I did here. I was called a woman and banned within 3 posts. That site has clueless admins, and is apparently full of trolls. Introductions are a good thing, though. I see this place as a community, an exclusive space for men.

Need to get a feel for things or this website may not be simply for them. Although I do believe it is better to have your first post as an intro I don’t think it should be a prerequisite.

It's only after we've lost everything that we're free to do anything

I agree with Durdan.

There is a MGTOW forum in my country and i made my first post with a introduction like in here, they banned me for life calling me troll and i when i tried to ask to the admin why they made it, i never get response…

Here i did a few comments before i felt comfortable and then i made my presentation and i glad to stay here because i see that some of the people who welcomed me, made their presentation after me…so i think is a good thing but maybe that would let many people outside…

Hi snake, guess it is my first reply to you, so welcome at first.

I agree, a gents place and I think we all can handle this like gents.

Although I do believe it is better to have your first post as an intro I don’t think it should be a prerequisite.

the same welcome to you Durden, and the same thoughts here.
