Introduction of a Weirdo

So, where to begin? Hello everyone, new member from Finland signing up here.

I’ve been a MGTOW for a good five years (I’m currently 23) before even knowing of the very concept.

Back in high school I was a hopeless mangina, though mostly due to my dad being a traditionalist and insisting I get myself a girlfriend. Somewhere down the line I began to think about how the women around me treated men, and how my dad was treated by my mom. I steadily ingested the red pill and since I got out of high school, I’ve sworn off relationships and declared that I’d live for myself from now on.

I’m currently doing military service (it’s mandatory here in Finland unless you’re female), and also have plans to write some fiction (fantasy and some sci-fi on the side) that I’d hopefully some day publish. Unfortunately I have a bad work ethic when it comes to writing, though I do manage to keep the monthly blog I have up to date properly. Aside from writing my hobbies are playing D&D, video games and walking that sometimes turns to jogging. If there’s something I should have added here, someone will probably let me know. Either way, good to be on board.

Welcome brother! It’s always great to see a young man deciding at a young age to become a mgtow. You will save yourself so.much money and wasted time. At your age I was already engaged and planning for a marriage (28 and in process of a divorce…lol). Stupidest mistake I’ve ever made. So keep to your guns and swear off traditional relationships. It’s a trap!

Nice hobbies by the way…and keep writing, it’s a Hobbie that you can always do for the rest of your life. Good luck!

A dose of RedPill on a regular basis is strongly recommended for young fellow MGTOWs. The temptation of pussy is strong at this age. Your on the right way. Wish I had been that wise when I was your age. Well, nearly 15 Years ago we´ve been living in a totally different society. The first signs of change could´ve been noticed, but it has been a lot better these days. These times are gone and we have to face the current conditions. So keep on, growing strong! Don´t believe the hype!

Haha, you need not worry. I feel like I might as well declare myself asexual nowadays. The very thought of getting in bed with a woman disgusts me, and I have no interest in dating whatsoever. I do grab daily doses of RedPill through a few channels like Sandman’s on Youtube, but I trust my own mind to carry me along, especially when I see daily reminders of what kind of a wreck I could have become around me. I feel sorry for my dad just to name an example, but he made his choice in the end, and he’s too stubborn to listen to anyone.

By the way, I have a DeviantART account (though I do not recommend checking that out unless you can stomach some really weird drawings), and a writing blog on Tumblr. Yes, I am aware of how poisonous the latter can be, but I’ll gladly take suggestions for a better blog site that’s easy to use.

Military service is, or rather was, mandatory for all males here in Norway. Now it’s become a voluntary job, and some females join in on their own volition. But it’s still pretty much a mans job.. As for how useful the women are, couldn’t tell as I finished my service 25 years ago before women started to enter.

I’d expect a man to be interested in games. It seems to have taken the role television used to be. It’s a healthy pasttime I partake in myself daily, and this fall/winter is going to be amazing with the release of Fallout 4 and Hitman.

I prefer 3.5e D&D myself, though I’ve been forced to switch to Pathfinder (players think it’s better than 3.5e D&D) despite disliking it. I’ve also tried out 4th edition (it was disappointing) and also play GURPS (good TTRPG system but has a bad reputation online for some reason) with another group. I am currently a player in a GURPS game and a DM for a Pathfinder game.

And yeah, the Military Service here in Finland is about one year. You can choose the classic military stuff, or switch to alternative service, which is what I did. Refusing both gives you one year of jail time, which is a load of bulls~~~.
