Interview with President Bashir El-Assad in 2017 (Repost)
[Y : The Khan Shaykhun chemical attack took place on 4th April 2017 on the town of Khan Shaykhun in the Idlib Governorate of Syria. At the time of the attack, the town was under the control of Tahrir al-Sham, previously known as the al-Nusra Front another ISIS crazy).
The town was reported to have been struck by an airstrike by government forces followed by massive civilian chemical poisoning. The release of a toxic gas, which included sarin, or a similar substance.
This attack was attributed to President Bashir even though the area was under the control of rebels supported by the US coalition. The Russian Defense Ministry stated that Syrian aircraft had bombed a warehouse belonging to rebels which “may have contained a rebel chemical arms stockpile”.
On 7th April 2017, the United States launched 59 cruise missiles at Shayrat Air Base, which U.S. intelligence claimed was the source of the attack
Later investigation by independent experts upon the area being liberated by the SAA concluded the Russian explanation was the most likely. It served the Syrian President nothing to gas his own people when he was winning the war, as well as the fact that all Syria Army chemical munitions were destroyed well before that and validated by OPCW inspectors [1] .
This interview-transcript was posted on 28th May 2017. I have re-posted it as the discussion on the use of ‘false flag’ chemical weapons is still valid today as then especially after the latest incident in Eastern Ghouta.
Thanks for reading – Y]

You’re posts are always well crafted and thought out, ty.
