Not only am I not counting on it, I’m not buying it. Feminism allowed women to put their true feelings out there, and they hate men. They LIKE a disposable utility that they can push around, but they HATE men. And they are entitled toddlers that believe they deserve everything. And that if you can’t handle her at her worst you don’t deserve her at her best. Like she’s a poisonous snake, because she is.

Your question is an obvious one, your answer is logical and shows the folly of the authors assertion. The author would reply with this: women have been conditioned by the patriarchy to believe that marriage benefits them and is something that benefits them, because it benefits men. Therefor marriage, the patriarchy, and all things associated with the traditional nuclear family need to be destroyed and replaced with what feminism has deemed as a more equitable situation.

So as you can see the author just makes assumptions and assertions based upon a political philosophy. Everything must be philosophically pure. To stray from that is to be called manes and castigated. To see what this type of thing looks like on steroids look up documentaries about the Maoist Cultural Revolution in China. Thanks TWIST, my idea when posting it was to prompt discussion. The bit in the article about sad older women made me laugh.

DONT BEAST ME BECAUSE I AM NOT TOOTING MY OWN TRUMPET, but the following is from my MGTOW observations.

I have worked hard all my life, school, college, university, work. I am now a 60 something MGTOW. I drive an Italian (Mas) sports car, am relativley wealthy, am well provided for financially, I am tall, educated, well spoken, been told good looking, still have all my own hair and teeth, play golf every day with my buddies, etc etc, you get the idea.
When I get the eye flutter from some female, and it does happen frequently in my social circles as buddies wife’s are always trying to set me up with their “wonderful divorced friends”, because they think I cant possibly be happy without a good woman. But I know immediately what they see in me – a wallet, bragging rights, free acccomodation, support, etc etc etc.
I am always the perfect gentleman when I meet them, smile, laugh and am charming, but it NEVER goes any further. This infuriates them so much that they have to ask if I am gay, because in their hive mentality, I must be gay (I am definitely not btw) if i dont want to get involved with their “wonderful” friends.

I can get MY needs attended to by a cute 20 something on a lease basis whenever I want, without needing to purchase a second hand worn out wrinkly who has been riding the carousel.

Reasons for going MGTOW? Work hard, get lots of money and stuff, and spend it on yourself. And p~~~ yourself laughing at their pathetic attempts to split you from your stuff.

The prime motivation behind my posting is that being charming to them is more effective than being aggresive.

If you are aggresive they dismiss you as an asshole.
If you are charming, and they see you as a target, and it drives them ABSOLUTELY NUTS when you refuse to play their game.

I think it should be considered a new Olympic Sport, LMAO.

If you are aggressive, or an asshole, you allow them to walk away with some pride and indignation. You allow them to have a ‘sour grapes’ attitude that you weren’t worth it anyway. Technically speaking, it is dishonest to mislead them this way (unless of course you really ARE an asshole..haha). I’m in a similar situation here when it comes to single mothers and divorced friends that people occasionally want to set me up with. I don’t go out of my way to be nice, or to be rude. I’m just about as polite as I am in a professional setting when I’m weighing options for business or investing. And all that politeness probably is more frustrating to them because it just adds icing onto the cake that they cannot have.

But that is not my problem. My responsibility to make decisions in the best interests of ME.

So, when I come face to face with the damsel in distress, or the gold digger, or the monkey bencher, I evaluate them based on the positives and negatives of giving them the relationship with me that they want, and then just politely usher them into the friend zone. For me, it’s the most appropriate response…
