An off-duty firefighter in Maryland risked his life Monday to save a man from jumping off a roughly 180-foot bridge.

“He was just holding on by his grip and his feet were dangling over the water,” Glenn said.

But before the man could let go, Glenn and two other men — one of whom was an off-duty U.S. Capitol police officer and the other an off-duty Montgomery County Fire Department member, according to Hogg — reached over the railing, grabbed the man and pulled him back over.

I already posted the 2014 story when I ignored all storm warnings and drove to my favorite forest area…

Hiking in the rain and at night to remove more toxins from my body…

And on the way there, I saw a man by the roadside who had collapsed, sitting in the mud and no one stopping to help him out. And his open car with all lights on a few meters away.

It looked like a crime scene, looked like he had been mugged…

But he was sick and “thought” he had the strength to stop, leave his car and take a p~~~…

He was in dire need of help and 26 cars (a lot in this rural back-land) passed and ignored his waving and the lights on his open car.

I was never afraid of s~~~ and my shoes are meant to become dirty…

I pulled him out, sat him in his car and escorted him home to his family.

The rainstorm and the extremely cold wind would have killed him. I know because I returned from my planned hike early after only one hour.

That night laid some entire forest areas to rest. 2 of 3 roads blocked…
