This run is one of those runs where mistakes are not an option! No room to turn, only speed will slow you down! Been there!

This guy goes for the outcrops, they always lead you danger! I did a bomb hole off one that was in a restricted area filling in a ski trail with an avalanche. (I heard someone say where the f~~~ did he come from when I emerged from a cloud of snow from the avalanche) Snowbird/Alta UT. FUN!

First one looks fun but second one is a walking dead man, there is no way he can be sure up there that avalanche will not trigger.

Plus he can’t climb out! Which I have done and likely to do again! Takes 36.735 seconds to get in, 45 minutes to climb back out! You can’t have fallen trees in you line! Be like a tomato thrown at a porcupine!

It’s the same in real life! Butterfly stomach, knees start shaking, it’s then when everything goes blank and you get in the ZONE! Every thought is erased from your head, your entire memory and all your troubles go away, then you literally “drop in” and the slamming begins! Sometimes the landing zone is softer than expected, while other times your legs slam your chest and knock the wind out of you!

I haven’t made a big mistake yet, I always skied within my ability and ventured out as I became better and better. It’s a sport you’re always learning and improving, along with the VAST REMARKABLE IMPROVEMENTS TO THE HARDWARE! Twin tips, narrow waste (sidecut) boots, bindings, poles, all f~~~ing SPACE AGE!

When you’re good you make it look easy, graceful, natural, just gracefully ripping past everyone on the edge of the trail away from traffic because you’re one of the locals!

You know every twist and turn with no surprises. The terrain park we launch big air of the features knowing how and where to stick the landing! Bigger air demands forward pitch and forward roll or else you’ll get “blown in the back seat” and land on your back slamming your head! It’s part skydiving and there’s where I can relate to Sky-O! Big air doesn’t get any bigger than that!

But I go skydiving without a parachute! Low to the ground with all the rocks and trees! I’ve cartwheeled on snow snakes a few times! (hidden obstructions, deep powder, back country).

I learned to ski on old straight renegades with damn little sidecut! In skiing it’s not called the “death wobble” it’s more like the “death wa…” Out cold! Bloody face! They didn’t even have helmets when I started!

Now with the new equipment and high speed lifts you can become expert in way less time and way less chance of injury! I was one of the first to switch to shaped skis back in the early 90’s, I still keep my knees together unlike the wider stance you see today.

In Snowbird UT, I flew over the kids in ski school and landed way the f~~~ down the hill! Back before I quit downhill skiing from the danger. I never saw them over a big kicker! The instructor never should have been there out of sight.

I was snorkeling in powder while married friends gave nothing but excuses not to go! The big excuse was “I have a wife and kids, I can’t afford to get injured”. Waaaa! Now they HAD a Wife and can’t afford s~~~!

I take you haven’t been dumped in big surf . Kind a like been in a washing machine after been smashed into the sand . Taking in air after the free fall before hitting water ya take in the last bit of air at the last minute because ya don’t know how long ya going to be under . Really f~~~ed when ya hit the surface expecting air only to be hit with another wave .

A bit similar to been buried in powder as i get educated on snow .

Snow mobile stuff has been intresting but most of all getting a tour of the natural beauty that is a freedom that is taken for granted and not botherd with anymore .

What happend to all those family holidays . No famlies and f~~~ed paying jobs . Another proud FEMINIST achievement .
