I have only even known about the MGTOW movement for about a week so I feel no authority to steer it in any direction. (Yes I was living under a rock. that was GMOW for the old me.) However In the short time I have been participating the same issue has slapped me in the face 3 different times. Twice on Reddit and once here. A search of this site found only one textual occurrence of it being mentioned and that was nothing more then the two people agreeing to scurry off to email to discuss it as if they were deathly afraid to do so in the open. The Reddit posts were both deleted immediately upon me asking for clarity.

As a 100% straight man it confuses the s~~~ out of me when a gay man calls himself MGTOW. I am even more confused with the fact that a community of adult men are scare s~~~tless to even discuss the topic and given the behaviour I have seen it is abundantly clear you are SCARED S~~~LESS.

So here is my question: Is a gay man not by his very definition the antipathy of MGTOW?

Don’t even need to go that far into it.

Doesn’t a gay man navigate the current social and legal climate entirely differently? It’s a different set of hardships and concerns. For example, a gay man will most certainly never face (even the remote threat) of a false accusation from a woman – based on her whim.

It’s a big deal for a man. Has a gay man ever rolled over after a good romp and feared the other guy might “change his mind” about very obviously consenting?

I can actually AVOID a charge like that by saying “I’m gay”. It’s practically a get-out-of-jail-free card in a way. A gay man also has the right to cry “discrimination” when he doesn’t get a job – or served in a restaurant. He has rights and luxuries that I don’t have. Don’t laugh, it’s true.

Imagine a man saying “I didn’t get that job because I’m white”.
Or “I didn’t get that job because I’m straight”.

I would be laughed out of the room for that.
