@ pabsawake, I’m real sorry for what you’re going through, I used to breakdown and cry in the middle of the day when all the misery I’ve been through would envelop my mind, it was uncontrollable as I realized the world around me had no hope to offer only another kick in the teeth waiting around the next bend.

If you weren’t crying over your current slavery I say there was something VERY WRONG with you!

Message me if you want to go deeper into what makes us cry.

@pabsawake – binging alcohol is a fast track to depression and self loathing, but then i’m not saying anything we don’t know.

God knows I like a drink, but i’m limiting myself these days. Try and keep yourself busy in the evenings after work. I just re-joined my old athletics club, I’m on the track 3 times a week burning off all that excess energy and the endorphine release post workout gives me a nice buzz.

How can a man with 2219 stars be so shallow?

I’d place more emphasis on what someone says rather than how many stars they have.

I know one piece of medicine that gets rid off all pain a man feels: workout.

Workout, workout, workout. And not just the simple type…. I’m talking about the type that would make your trainer go “Whadda….”

I am preparing myself for lifting weights…. 200 gm boiled chicken 3 days a week for the muscles.

Mr. P, I suggest you do the same. Work out and get rid of all your insecurities. It always works.

Go easy on @pabsawake please. He is hurting and railed the other day, and put his pet down and feels totally alone.

Drunken griefe is not honoring a loved ones memory. Sadness should be be pure ,sweet ,sober. Then when you are strong enough, you pick yourself up,get your balance, and move foward carrying the new,yet sweet, extra load of loss. It is a learned skill. Start learning it.

I have been in that “situation” (loosely put) more times than I can count before I even hit my early twenties……And you want to know what happened? The real truth of it?

One day you will learn, or remember, that as long as you breath you can keep going. It is that simple, it is that true, but most of all it is a reliable piece of advice.

If you can breathe you can keep moving, if you can keep moving you are meant to live and with all life comes purpose.

One day you will look into the darkness and laugh at it like a big joke.

    @pabsawake,

    Totally understand.
You must get rest for your mind.

Been there and it took a woman (bless her heart) to do it.

Nervous breakdown, anxiety attacks are real things. Be careful driving, etc.

If a black circle appears in your vision and goes down to a pin hole, you will wake up on floor, wherever. Trust me, the second time it happened i knew what it was. An anxiety attack.

Your mind can only deal with so much. This group is here for you. You must get rest. This part is the hardest, I promise.

Like others have said, no alcohol. Feed your body.

    Peace brothers

Whatever you do, don’t do something drastic. It’s true that happiness comes from within but it could take a while of working on it and learning about yourself before the happiness manifests.

Worry about you, only you. Work out, take care of yourself, don’t let the outside world judge you. They don’t know you and don’t give two s~~~s about you.

And buy yourself a present. You deserve it.

@pabsawake I’ll let you in on a secret. If I was a normal man, I would have been long dead. The standard of living I was 5 years ago, and the standard I’ve come down to now….. it’d be unbearable for any average man.

But do you know what kept me going? I had a dream one night. I even remember the exact time and date: July 9, 2016, 10:35 PM. I was sleeping on my bed and was just dozing off when I had a beautiful dream. In that dream, a stranger wearing all-white clothes was smiling at me.

Now, back at that time, I remember I was on one of my low moments. So maybe that’s why I asked that man in my dream: “What do I do now with my life? My future doesn’t look very bright. I feel like I do not belong to this world, and I should leave.”

The man simply replied, while smiling all the time: “Its okay. I do not want you to do anything other than live your life as it comes to you. I do not want your achievements, I do not want you to prove yourself or be successful at anything. Just live.”

I didn’t know why but I still revere that memory in my mind like it was God himself speaking to me. I’m not even religious, so I do not really believe in the unseen. But its the greatest source of inspiration that keeps me alive and running everyday. And when things go bad, I just close my eyes, picture that man in white in my mind, and assure myself that I only have one purpose: to live until it is my time.

    Hope this helps you.

I don’t really know. I’m not christian and my family’s Hindu. I haven’t been … ‘baptised’ into Hinduism yet.

Truth be told, I don’t follow religion. I just believe in God.. or whatever he is. He is pretty much an imaginary character I talk to in my mind at times. Nothing religious.
