Yep, the response makes no sense. Did you tell her what you were looking for? Did she describe herself inaccurately? Has she already decided she’s going to do your thinking for you?

It’s not at all worth trying to get an accurate answer. When I’ve had similar responses/situations, I find myself wanting to get to the bottom of it. To get her to tell the truth and tell me what’s really going on. It’s never worth the effort.
