O.K., so maybe not the appropriate forum but I’ve been around here a little while but I’ve also been gone a little while. I just wanted to give a shout out to KeyMaster, Total Lee, et al. The site looks fantastic guys! So many positive changes since I was last here! It looks like the MGTOW community is thriving and that’s exciting as hell!

I’ve been on hiatus with work, son, and personal fitness/growth. It’s amazing what some time in the metaphorical desert does for the mind. It has helped me reconnect with who I truly am as a human being. It has helped me grow spiritually. There are just so many things that have changed and many more things yet to change. It’s an exhilarating journey!

If you ever remember anything from these forums try and remember this as I think it embodies a lot of what MGTOW is really about:

Life is too short to surround yourself with losers and those who would detract from your life. If you aren’t where you want to be in life, then take a look around at your surroundings and ask yourself, “Am I surrounded by circumstances and people who will help me grow as a human being? Or am I surrounded by people who are miserable and want some company to be miserable with them?” If your situation falls in to the latter category then it’s time to pull the eject handle, changes your company, change your surroundings, and focus on being the strongest and best version of yourself. Be ever vigilant but dont’ let bitterness, anger, and hatred rule your life. We all experience those negative emotions in life but just be a visitor and not a resident. There is always a constructive “take-away” from life’s seemingly bad experiences. Learn, evolve, grow. The world is full of hate and malcontent. As cliche as it sounds what the world needs now is love. That starts by loving and respecting yourself. If you do that then you will find your own path to happiness whatever it may look like. Our folly is to look for self-satisfaction in others. Don’t fall for that lie. It is a destructive dead-end path. Be strong, love yourself in a healthy way, and don’t settle for anything less in others than what you are willing to give. Surround yourself with those who will edify you. Recognize the difference between those who genuinely need someone to speak life in to their lives and those who are simply seeking to manipulate you in to feeling sorry for them so they can destroy your inner man.

Anyway, I digress…good to see the community thriving here. There is abundant life out there in the world. Go find your life and refuse entry to the haters who would destroy it.

Agree. I think this is a stumbling block to many of the young MGTOW. Making mistakes, being taken advantage of, bad experiences; these are the markings of of a man in the making. Find the “take-away” and grow. Looking forward to your posts Soul Man.

Yes, I’ve been on a journey…mostly inward, occasionally outward…exploring the “me” that I used to be…seeking understanding of the things that make me tick and why I have made the choices I have in the past. This has been time well spent as it has brought me clarity about myself and how I relate to the world at large. While I still appreciate the fine aesthetics of the female form, “the V” spell has been broken for this man. The way I figure it, I have enjoyed a great variety of women over my lifetime. “The V” certainly holds no mystery for me. If I never venture in to the dark labyrinth of the golden inverted windsock again then so be it. Been there, done that, planted my flag pole…many times and in many places! There are other bigger things to conquer now that I am free of the vag fog. Onward and upward!
