    I have many responsibilities in my job in retail. One of them involves cash handling which, in my humble opinion, requires undivided attention.

    What p~~~es me off more than anything is when a female customer has one of my employees call me and demand that I trespass male individuals who are non threatening and only ask for a light so they can smoke. What agitates me more is when I try to get a description of the individual in question, said female refuses to help and goes ape s~~~. She just wants me to get rid of the individual because she feels threatened by his mere presence. I swear this woman should go find some white knight sucker to put up with her ass or just stay the hell out of my store.

    They live in an imagined rape culture. You live in reality. I do not find it possible to excuse their behavior; I cannot even find the gall to say they are the victims of their own delusions. I no longer pity them, I just go my own way.

    Protect them from guys asking for a light.

    It might prevent one of those women from being raped.

    Because, their vaginas are so amazing that every guy standing outside asking for a light could in fact be. . . .a rapist.

    Sometimes you just have to multi task at work.

    Politely tell the LIL sweety, since this male didn’t actually do or say ANYTHING potentially harmful to her person that you can’t ask him to leave because that would be a discriminatory practice that would infringe upon his civil rights.

    Thank you for letting me vent. Next time she pulls this crap, I’m just going to walk away.

    Props to you dealing with the general public, I don’t think I could handle such a job especially this time of year LoL

    And on a side note. I have noticed women (due to subjective overvaluing of their vagina) occasionally appear and/or just act like they are frightened by normal behavior in certain situations.

    Case study from last week at my condo.

    I got in late, was parking close to midnight and got out right as a bitch was getting out of her car (ultimately going to the same building) and she turned around to glance at me, then started walking really fast and when she got to the stairwell kind of looked back, like she was thinking ‘Omigosh, my pussy could be under attack soon. . .’ and she shot up all three flights of stairs.

    When I initially noticed her odd behavior in the parking lot,I started walking slower. Like to avoid not being behind her going to the same building. Kind of created a rape safe boundary or whatever.

    Anyway, point of my story is. Three days later, in broad daylight (safe from rape, I guess), I pulled in, parked in the same space and looked over and she was getting out of her car again. Only this time I had my dog with me (an 8lb Maltese toy breed) and when she turned around and saw it, she asked what kind of dog it was and came up to talk to me, asked what his name was and was petting him, followed by ‘I really want one of these. . .’ And she talked to me as we walked towards the building.

    So like, at night and without my little white fluffy dog – she was in panic mode.

    During the day, with my Maltese sidekick, everything was cool.

    That’s an interesting observation. Night and day.

    @kevin Styles

    Thanks, man. It takes a great deal of patience, especially this time of year.
