So, now even painkillers are going to be a problem for men. Luckily we’re not as thin-skinned as the women, so we’ll get through this as well.

I suspect that this may have more to do with the governments desire to cut down on NHS prescriptions.

After all, if white men all become sterile, isn’t that exactly what the Guardianistas would want?

The problem by jumping on the bandwagon unthinkingly is that you all ignore the very real issue with such things screwing with the hormones in your body. We’re talking about increased risk of heart-diseases etc. Read the f~~~ing article for once!!

Men who take high doses of ibuprofen for months at a time may be at greater risk of fertility issues and also other health problems, such as muscle wastage, erectile dysfunction and fatigue, scientists have found.

The finding comes after repeated warnings from other researchers that ibuprofen can raise the risk of heart attacks in the general population and cause medical problems for pregnant women and their babies, including a more than doubling of the risk of miscarriage.

After this, I’m not touching that f~~~ing thing, I’d like to NOT decrease my life expectancy. The lesson is: Don’t cut off your nose to spite your face.

    God damn it.

I personally haven’t taken Advil for years. (I personally use turmeric/boswellia)

    Consider:

    1. There is both animal and human evidence to suggest that NSAIDs delay fracture healing when taken for more than 1 or 2 weeks.

    2. Reporting in Rheumatology, studies found that people who used NSAIDs had an 80 percent higher risk for venous clots.

    3. Advil is linked to osteoarthritis. The use of Advil has been shown to accelerate the articular cartilage breakdown in osteoarthritis.
Some of the medical literature suggests that if NSAID use continues, then we might see an exponential rise in degenerative arthritis and subsequent joint replacement surgeries such as knee and hip replacements as well as spine surgeries. Don’t make your friendly orthopedist too rich.

    4. Ibuprofen can cause marked worsening of existing hypertension or development of new high blood pressure. It can also cause damage to the kidneys (nephrotoxicity), worsening of heart failure, and even heart attack or stroke.

Advil can literally kill you. And if it doesn’t kill you, it can do a number on your joints.

Well, that’s one reason to not using pain-killers at all.
