If you have a block list I would suggest putting any and all numbers you see pop up that you are not familiar with on said block list. Advise all your friends and family that should they change their number for any reason to send you a heads-up text first.

Delete your voicemail if you can, as in just delete it so you don’t have a message if you got one. If you can completely turn it off, which not sure that’s possible, that be good.

I believe most websites, you can report abuse. Posting your phone number, I believe that is abuse. So maybe that’ll get that particular post removed, however she could do it again.

Could be best to wait it out, til she loses interest and then report it soshe doesn’t pump up her efforts or like everyone else said, change your number.

Remember me posting last week about a Turing test for trolls? Now is a good time for some practice.

When you read their introduction nothing seems odd. Sentence composition and word choices are all normal. Then you read their post in this thread all several things jump out: “would enjoy some advice”, “caught up in a spat”, “sassy feminist”, “said thing I will later forget”.

“Enjoy” some advice and not “need” some advice? “Caught up” in a “spat” and not “got in” a “fight” or “argument”? Spat? Sassy? Using “forget” instead of “regret”?

Compared to the words choices and sentence composition in their introduction, this post seems as if it were written by another person entirely.

Obviously not enough to pull the trigger yet, so let’s feed them more rope and see.

And OP? Assuming you are what you say you are and what happened actually happened, get a new phone number. Your old number has been released into the wild. Reddit supposed has rules against any type of doxxing but, seeing as it was a woman who doxxed you, I would bother reporting her to the admins there.
