    Nick,

It can be done, I lost 80 Lbs 3 years ago and have kept it off, it takes some work and time.

Usual when you expect somebody to drop your name might be a bit of a red flag

Stay away from the VA, they will use you as a guinea pig for whatever new test drug they want to get past the FDA.

Life is too long to play by someone elses rules....

The VA and their “psychiatrist” ran me through so many different drugs for my depression and anxiety. Every 6-8 weeks they were changing my meds. I packed on so much weight and could barely move. I felt like my soul was made out of lead. Plus, the navy didn’t do any of my dental stuff before I was discharged. They said that I could just get it done at the VA after I got out. They marked completed on my discharge paperwork. My teeth are so jacked up and I can’t get any work done on them.

My disability doesn’t cover dental and my behavioral health and audiology only makes me 60% disabled. Plus, I can’t afford good dental insurance. I have a lifetime DAV membership, but I am afraid to call and ask if they know a lawyer who will take my case to push for 100% disability, because I wouldn’t be surprised if the government would just turn around and take away all my disability if I pushed for more.
