I was gonna go into plumbing, but then I saw this pic

I’ve been thinking really hard about my future lately, and I don’t see that much light in it. Trucking is going to be replaced soon by autonomous vehicles. Most of the security work is part time now. Thought about going into Plumbing this fall, but on a College website they had this picture that made me think really hard about going into this field.

The c~~~s are now everywhere and are trying to promote themselves, and other c~~~s. They think they can do a job as good or even better than a man does. I’m losing any hope for a decent future, seriously. They really have to rub it in our faces don’t they??

I would not count on trucking jobs going away. Some may but certainly not all.

And it all depends what company you work for with plumbing, or if you are your own single man company.

Get a grip brother! You can’t escape women entirely but that doesn’t mean you choose nothing, you can pick a job with minimal female interference. Learn a trade that’s predominantly masculine in environment and which you can eventually do for yourself.

You’ll find it’s even fun to be around women in small numbers as you can still get away with being a man in certain jobs.

Some woman is not going to spend 40+ hours per week on their knees, or on their back with their arms up trying to fix a sink, or up to their elbows in s~~~. I wouldn’t do that either but to each is own.

I’m a UK trucker. For years the media and industry insiders have been quoting a shortage of truck drivers to the tune of 50,000. There isn’t, otherwise it wouldn’t be an almost minumum wage job here that pays £1 more per hour after 50 hours. It’s a myth pedalled by the training industry and large logistics companies to ensure hundreds of thousands of licence holders so there’s a pool of cheap labour forever more. There is no shortage.

Anyway, the point I want to make in relation to this is this: the other day I read a spokewoman for the Road Haulage Association claiming the industry needs to change to attract more women into the job.

My immediate response was, why? There was no rationale given for it. Simply, the industry needs to attract more women into the job.

My depot employs 190 drivers. Of those 190 there were 5 women, but now there’s 4 as one got pregnant. Out of those 4 I’m on talking terms with 2. Of those 2, one is a C~~~. She openly admitted to me that when she gets to places she puts on the ‘weak girly girl’ act, and get all the men to do her heavy work. The worst thing about it is, they do without question.

I love trucking precisely becasue it’s heavily male dominated. Don’t worry Russky2, automation is a LONG way off for heavy trucks yet. The auto wipers can’t even guage the rain right, so you’re never gonna get software to drive a truck 500 miles on it’s own any time soon, despite what the companies claim – it’s all PR to tempt investment. Even if they could, there’d need to be somebody on board to do the last few miles, or be an escort for the load etc. Planes work mostly on autopilot, yet there are 2 pilots on board. Truckers won’t be redundant for decades. American trucks are way behind the technological innovation of European ones. They still use constant mesh 18 speed manual transmissions – something Euro trucks phased out in the 80s. Plus, in my opinion, American truckers are a slightly more active bunch than UK truckers, and won’t take automation lying down like we do.

The reason why they show pictures like that is because they either have to or because they were paid to do so.

99.999999999999999999999% of plumbers are men.

Women by and large don’t want to do dirty jobs. It’s a fact.

Also, you can work for yourself.

I know two plumbers and one of them is self employed. He is still on the young side in regard to age and makes around $130K a year. He paid off his house early too.

It’s a solid profession. Don’t avoid it just because you might see a female plumber once in your entire life.

Trucking isn’t going anywhere. They can’t even perfect automated cars for regular driving yet. Stop being such a mangina. “waahh, I don’t want to work around women”. Then be a f~~~ing hermit then. Stay in your house all day and GALT society. That’s the only way you’re going to avoid dealing with women. And you better be prepared for ordering your food online to avoid weemin at the grocery store.

Stop being such a drama queen. At best, maybe 25% of the female workforce is doing a manual labor job. And you’re gonna get all depressed about that? If your precious ego is being insulted by a woahman hurting your job prospects then your skills were never very good to begin with. Women only care about competition with men when the cameras are rolling. Otherwise they don’t give a f~~~. They’re mostly lazy as s~~~ and don’t want to do the work. Men outwork women all the time. Be confident in your skills and abilities to get the job done and go out and do it!

See, I’d hate working for a woman as my experience with them is horrible. Yeah I kinda do care about my ego, what’s wrong with that?

I’m saying that they want to get into male dominated fields, and have US do all the work for them. It’s f~~~ing ridiculous as they are coming up with smart scams every f~~~ing corner we turn to. HR is taking over and men are being pussy whipped. I’m not very happy about this. Hence the reason why we’re here debating all these topics.

It’s not my plan to do nothing. Obviously I have to get a job, but the time when I took up any job is now done. So I’m obviously looking into getting into a field that is male dominated and that will be needed for decades to come as automation is taking over.

Sure, maybe trucks won’t self drive just yet but are the wages going to remain the same if this happens? Yeah you will need someone to load and unload the truck, but if you don’t drive it then what? It’s hard to predict what this will bring. You can be wrong and you can be right.

But women entering male dominated fields is a big f~~~ up! I don’t f~~~ing plan on taking out their garbage if I’m being asked. And believe me I had to do this at my workplace. Why should I? They get the same pay, and yet they don’t want to do s~~~ty jobs. Most common excuses for them not taking out the garbage was lack of time or lack of strength. F~~~ that s~~~, is my time less valuable than theirs?

If plumbing field is going to be dominated by women like HR field, then we’d have a problem won’t we? That’s my point. They seem to get their way at whatever cost.

See that was one of the reasons why I quit my job. Is that I didn’t feel like taking out the garbage for women. Will I be expected to do the heavy lifting for a woman if we work in plumbing side by side? Ohh can you lift that heavy wrench for me? Ohh I don’t know how to turn a screwdriver. All this s~~~ I see coming with women trying to get into these fields.
