I sleep with a stainless steel dual razor edge dagger. But I must admit, the flash from a gun is better suited to illuminate your target for re-acquisition. 18 inches of razor edge on both sides is more than enough to poke a lethal hole, and it’s not clumsy like a sword.

I sleep with an old M10 bayonet. It doesn’t really hold an edge too well. I’d probably slice myself up grabbing for it in the dark if it did…
