So I’d like to find a device on eBay but I don’t know exactly the name of it. Its just those two rings you put in a door you want to secure with a padlock.

You can see one such ring in this picture:

It should be mounted securely like in the picture, the rings should not be mounted with screws on the same side as the padlock. If feminists hear that I buy such cheap rings instead of expensive rings, they might learn to use a screwdriver and come to get me

For the very large ring I’ve seen these in farm supply shops. They’re galvanised though and come attached to a plate that screws to the wall. This can be cut off.

For the chains, the fasteners just look like extra thick fencing staples.

Good luck with your project but if you need help tracking down a strong pair of handcuffs, I wouldn’t have a clue. 🙂

Use a D-ring with carriage bolts and washers long enough to go through the double doors or door and wall which ever configuration you have, I’m assuming you’re using a lock and chain, you can loop the chain through a piece of steel pipe that goes through the D rings if they’re purchased large enough. They come big enough to pull a house in transport.

We use these occasionally in climbing. It’s called a ring bolt hanger or ring bolt anchor. Check climbing shops.
