I hate Christmas.

Being an Atheist and somewhat of an anti-consumerist type I despise Christmas. It is a holiday which attendance is seemingly mandatory, even in families that are not Christian. To me this is just a cult consumerist day woven into our social fabric via Corporations. Being MGTOW, this is the hardest day of the year for me.

Today I am in my own little blue pill hell.

I hear ya bro! And I consider myself a christian! It’s always typical for most people to go through post holiday depression, but not me, I don’t ride the emotional roller coaster that goes up and down in cycles set to the calendar, each passing year is tempered more and more with simple contentment. It’s nice and comfortable to be the level plane in a mountainous terrain.

Chin up Joe…. it’ll be over before you know it, and we’ll all be able to laugh our asses off at the
influx of weemin joining up gyms as a result of yet another empty New Year’s resolution to soon drop out and turn back to their routine of lying with Hagg and Dazs and their cats!

Find something completely selfish to do for yourself during this time, spoil yourself as a distraction and next thing you know you’ll feel a lot better.

So make it a day that isn’t about consumerism and / or religion. Make it a day you like instead of getting in a bad mood or thinking about how s~~~ty a holiday it is. You have the day off, do something with it.

I don’t hate Christmas in and of itself. That stated, I’ll be Godf~~~ingdammned if I ever again participate in the buying spree and enforced cheerfulness it has turned into in the century since Charles Dickens wrote Christmas Carol.

There, I wrote it and I’m glad.

Oh, and by the way Santa, no I am not particularly overjoyed that the cartoon elf rescued you and “saved Christmas.” While I’m on this rave and rant: the Little Drummer Boy should be banned by every civilized nation on earth.

Bah! Humbug! Take your Christmas goose and cook it!
