Hey guys, I joined this site yesterday, so I’m still exploring. I wasn’t sure if my input should go in this forum, “MGTOW Central”, or “Blue Pill Hell”, but eventually decided that if I’m new to the club, then I should enter it as such. It’s just plain good manners. Although heads-up, there is a long (and rant-filled) post ahead.
I’m not fully comfortable going into my own personal history yet. Some of my experiences are still a bit too recent, and I’ve always been kind of shy – that’s why it’s taken me so long to join. For what it’s worth, I’m 5’9″, Pisces, and have a hero in Pete Townshend. But more to the point, I found something on Imdb recently that really angered me, and wanted to see if anybody else finds it as infuriating as I did. Might be an interesting way to get acquainted with all of you. I’ll be the first to say that it hardly matches some of the horror stories that I read before I joined, but thought that I’d start off with something moderate, then work my way up to the hottest topics once settled. At any rate, it certainly p~~~ed me off. The other night I watched What Happens in Vegas and hated it. I know, I shouldn’t be feeding into some idiotic rom-com, as if that genre has ever known jack-s~~~ about real life. And I’m not feeding into the movie itself, it was stupid. Same old tiresome garbage – we’re expected to root for two complacent morons who wouldn’t know real love if it socked them in the jaw, and don’t deserve happiness of any kind by running’s end. You’re probably wondering what I was doing watching such slop, but in spite of myself, I rather enjoyed Ashton Kutcher’s performance in Spread. He’s far from my favourite actor, but it was a surprise to see him at least trying. And feeling rather bored, I finally decided to see if his more frivolous choices were worth giving the time of day to. I know now that I was committing the same dire mistake that I’ve already paid dearly for committing: giving someone too much credit. Call it a moment of weakness I guess, I am generally tying to knock those on the head. Rest assured that I got what I deserved, given that it’s 101 minutes that I could’ve spent on something more productive, like driving a rusty fish hook through my eye socket.
Anyway, from now on I’m going with my gut – if it looks s~~~, chances are it probably is. Afterwards, I decided to see what kind of rating it got on Imdb, as I sometimes do. I’m currently studying film and television at university because I want to be a movie critic, so interest in the Hollywood network is kind of imperative. When I arrived at its homepage, I was annoyed that its rating was a lot higher than I expected (6.1), so decided to check the message boards instead. It may sound weird, but every once in a while, somebody on there has a fair point to make. Perhaps they’d have the same kind of issues with the movie that I did, and threads like those can make for pretty delicious reading. I can’t help it, I have a soft spot for listening to people bitch about terrible films. It’s partly the reason why I want to get into the business myself – to vent, although I am painfully aware that there will be days when I’ll have to sit through the kind of movie that I just did.
While patrolling the board, I found THIS. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1033643/board/thread/143346222
I applaud the main guy for voicing an opinion that I’ve aways harboured, but take a look at some of the responses – or all of them, if you’ve got the time. Though you probably won’t need to. After just four or five ramblings, you’ll get the message. I mean, spoiler alert, they’re pretty much all the same. But note the second one down. Zen_the_Mighty tells a horrible story about his TWELVE-YEAR-OLD BROTHER getting badly hurt by some vindictive little bitch for no reason. He also said, “It wasn’t the first time she’d done it” – which heavily implies that she didn’t even get punished for it on the first occasion, marking the seven billionth example I’ve seen of two parents who don’t seem too flustered by their daughter growing into the perfect arsehole (assuming, of course, that both parents are in the picture).
Now here’s what really got me. If I was told an upsetting story about that happening to their younger brother, my response would be “Sorry to hear it. Hope he’s OK, and that you’ve taken the girl’s parents to task on the matter, because she shouldn’t be allowed to get away with it. If she does, she’ll immediately start wondering how many other things she’ll be able to get away with.” I’d feel inclined to add that the original poster had definitely made his point, though I wouldn’t have challenged it to begin with. But not only does Zen receive no such words, THEY DON’T ACKNOWLEDGE HIS STORY AT ALL. They completely ignore him and go back to blathering on about how hitting a guy in the nads is so funny and it’s all just jesting anyway, so people shouldn’t be so sensitive. That patronising arsehole Kmerian even gives the original poster a small lecture on the definition of slapstick. I mean S~~~. This is after Big_Jim_Slade SAYS IN ONE OF HIS POSTS that he likes slapstick as much as the next person, meaning that he CLEARLY KNOWS WHAT IT IS.
I know that I shouldn’t be getting too worked up about Imdb nerds (after all, I’m one of them – or I was), because those message boards are a breeding ground for every kind of inanity imaginable, but I couldn’t believe how everybody there just BLATANTLY IGNORED both Zen’s story, and every last one of Big_Jim_Slade’s completely valid points. They say that the joke’s punchline shouldn’t be taken too seriously, while systematically demonstrating just what a serious issue it is. I mean, this is a textbook display of how normalised the double standard has become, to the extent that you can literally shove it under people’s noses and they won’t even acknowledge it. My rule of thumb is always put the shoe on the other foot and see if your argument remains. If a twelve-year-old boy put a twelve-year-old girl in terrible pain just for a giggle, not only would everybody go nuts, but they’d…be…BLAMING THE MOVIES. Imagine if a comedy showed this scenario. There’d be cries of “How dare you feature such a scene! D’you know what kind of message that will send to young boys? You’re basically telling male pre-teens that punching a woman in the tit is OK!” The second that it’s back to the norm, the movie shouldn’t be taken too seriously? The fact that this imbalance exists amongst adults is bad enough, but a kid? You’re telling me that something like this can now happen to a child, and not only does nobody care, they don’t even consider it worth addressing? I myself am ambivalent on the issue of whether violence in movies causes violence in real life. But in this case, I’d be willing to bet safe money that that girl got her idea after seeing it performed in a film. Given that it’s so often condoned and portrayed as heroic in movies, she probably got it in her thick little head that not only is it harmless fun, but socially appealing too. I’d call that the seven trillionth example I’ve seen of “strong independent women” being a code word for teaching girls that popularity must always come, even at the expense of causing somebody terrible pain.
Oh, and I simply love how Nicoleskye (the twelfth response) pulls the manipulative old “We can take childbirth, it’s only fair that you take a hit every now and then” for pleading her case. Apparently, women choosing to have children makes getting his nads skewered a reasonable turnabout for a twelve-year-old. Hm.
So…remind me why women think it’s silly for men to be wary of them?
Think I’ll stick to these message boards from now on. Looking forward to the benefits of membership.

Getting angry is natural. We have a butt-load of hormones that do this for us.
Nurturing anger like a hothouse plant is a major waste of your valuable time and energy. Moreover, it’s a waste that requires us to voluntarily participate in.
My practice (when I am on top of my game) is to let the anger wash over me and then accept what comes after. The “after” is usually another emotion that is the opposite of whatever was going on before. Thus runs our glandular systems.

Lol, thanks very much. Thanks for your promptness guys, I wasn’t expecting to get replies so soon.
I must say that it felt good to get that off my chest, and knew that I couldn’t post it on Imdb. Or rather, I could have, but the continuation of that conversation – if it can be called that – would have made me sorely regret it. It says something about popular websites that MGTOW seems to be the only place where you offload something that you’ve been carrying around for a while, and it’s unlikely that anybody will s~~~ on you for it. Maybe not impossible, but unlikely. I’ve just been over at F4J, the “Fathers 4 Justice” website? There was a picture there that caught my eye. Please note the “What sort of MP tries to ban debate of those lies on Twitter?” part.

OK, here’s the link. I just realised that I did it wrong the first time. Still learning about some of the functions here! I think this is right.

Hey Constantine, welcome aboard, and glad you found our corner of the world. There are a lot of good guys here, good thoughts & discussion, and some hilarious comedy.
badly hurt by some vindictive little bitch for no reason
Regarding your post – you’re absolutely right to be angry for a few reasons – I’ll break down the “why” in to three parts:
First, you’re feeling anger as a self-defense mechanism. If someone else hurt you, you’d be damn right to be angry!
Second, you weren’t hurt, this other person was. You’re sympathetic at his injury, and basically feeling that anger on his behalf.
Third, there’s never going to be justice for this injury. Some bitch injures a guy, and she gets away with it. No punishment, no deterrent factor. Well-adjusted people definitely feel anger in the face of injustice.I recall an episode of mine in high school, a long time ago. A girl hit me, basically to see if she could get away with it. I calmly told her “Don’t hit me again. If you do, i’m hitting you back & you’re going to cry.” Of course she pushed the boundary & hit me again. So of course i hit her. Two things resulted – she cried. And she never hit me again.
It’s insane to think that we men & boys have been brainwashed in to thinking girls & women are these angelic creatures, when they exhibit such classic bully behavior. To be clear, if this guy paid this bitch back with a punch in the face, he’s probably be punished (“OMG WHY WOULD YOU EVER HIT A GIRL YOU MONSTER?!?” pfffft 0 f~~~ that s~~~). But it’s important to note that she probably wouldn’t punch him in the nuts again. It’s unfortunate that this young man would get such a s~~~ty crash course in modern “feminist justice”, double-standards, and pyrrhic victory.
But he might learn, and learn early. Then you can introduce him to MGTOW as the only sane man’s response to an insane world.

Anonymous0Welcome Brother,
You are in the right place. Think of it as being out at a men only bar. No psycho-babes allowed. And it never ends. Read. Post. Learn. What one man shares another learns.A girl hit me, basically to see if she could get away with it.
First things first, sorry to hear it. I keep my promises. Unlike the wankers on Imdb, I’m not going to just ignore your anecdote and pretend that it’s not there. That’s great that you defended yourself, and that you never got trouble from her again. Did anything happen to you, though? If you were in high school, I can’t imagine how there wasn’t some kind of penalty. It would have been unfair of course, but you know how the system is, they never see it that way.
I just can’t believe that everybody ignored that person who relayed the incident. I feel so sorry for that poor kid, and won’t be surprised if we’re greeting him on these boards the minute he turns 18. Will probably be his birthday gift to himself. But the only thing worse than his misfortune is how unimportant it’s considered, given that it was registered by nobody. That line from World’s Greatest Dad has some relevance here: “I used to think the worst thing in life was to end up all alone. It’s not. The worst thing in life is ending up with people who make you feel all alone.” Uggghhhh. I’ve seen instances before where people told disturbing stories and nobody reacted. But I suppose this one carries a lot more significance because the kid hasn’t even hit puberty. Can a boy get the chance to actually see his b~~~~ drop before they’re shattered by everybody around him, please? It just goes to show that not even young boys are safe anymore. Abuse to a fully-grown man is already enraging. The fact that a twelve-year-old can take that kind of treatment and receive no condolences takes the joke that is feminism to new heights. I would laugh if it wasn’t causing so many men such distress. I’ve encountered some reprehensible bitches myself, but do feel fortunate that none have tried to attack me yet, at least not physically (touch wood). However, this issue is still grave to me, because I’ve known men who have been walloped. And none of their assailants ever met any kind of comeuppance for their actions. It first started when I was about 14. One of my classmates got beaten up by a girl who blamed him for her boyfriend dumping her. OK, she didn’t do that much damage because she was 14 and meatless, but the intent to hurt was there with both barrels. I don’t recall that girl ever being expelled. Another kid got punched by a girl over something that they’d been arguing about in science class, I don’t remember what. All that girl got was a three-day suspension, which could easily be viewed as three days off school. A second weekend with an extra day.
Not that I ever plan on having children, but if the unthinkable happened and I somehow ended up a father, I can assure you how different the situation would play out if that happened to any son of mine. I would head straight to the girl’s house and ask her parents, “Is this your runt? Teach her some f~~~ing decency or I’ll give him permission to retaliate next time. Don’t think that I won’t.” There’s no way that they’d be able to complain about my crassness, though I’m sure that they’d try. The answer is simple – “If your brat gets to assault my child with no repercussions, then I get to shout down your doorstep. Given the vast difference in consequence, it seems like a fair trade.” It f~~~ing kills me that that could happen and everybody within earshot would deem me the arsehole.
And all the while we have to listen to women’s bulls~~~ claims about how they only want equality. It’s the most common thing that I tend to hear any time the subject is broached in my presence. Girls saying, “Feminism is not about about man-hating, it’s about equal rights for everyone.” One could argue that a person of that description might fall under humanist, but I digress. On the odd times when there’s been a smart guy in the room, he’d ask, “For everyone? Then howcome you don’t seem to mind any of the double standards that we get? When a woman appears on TV in a bikini, it’s considered sexist, but when a man appears on TV in swimming trunks, it’s a compliment.” Standard reply: “Have you forgotten about all of the double standards that we suffered from for so long? Not fun, is it?” First of all, you just admitted that your campaign is not about equal rights, then. It’s about vengeance, as we’ve long suspected. And by that rationale…you’re also saying that that 12-year-old boy deserved to get hurt – because of something that happened a couple of decades before he was even a foetus, to somebody who he didn’t even know.
I’m probably starting to ramble, but like I said, I’d never be able to say any of this on Imdb. Thanks for all of your comments, it’s nice to know that I can get it out of my system somewhere.

Anonymous29A long read but welcome, m8.
The double standards go so deep that even female pedophile is all but disregarded. But thank you for posting here it was a good read and welcome.
A MGTOW is a man who is not a woman's bitch!
