While paying off a bill for December, I activated a system to check my credit score and history and there’s a great news to start this year off. My credit score is: 799 (Excellent); on-time payment: 100% (Excellent); Oldest Credit account: 11 years; credit used: 1% (Excellent); Available credit: $3,775 (Average).

I know it’s no one’s business and no one but me cares, but this being a brand new year and checking out my credit score, I feel great and proud of myself. This means I’m good a managing money even with the little I get.

Your credit score means jack s~~~. I reality bankers have their own criteria for who they lend money to and at what rate based on whether they believe they can make money out of you.

You can sometimes get discount on insurance with high credit rating. And better interest rates.
