KM used to joke about his criteria for a ring should a woman want to propose to him.

Sales must be down at Jared with the dramatic reduction in marriage.

I saw this for the first time tonight. Jared is encouraging women to “Dare to ask him”.

The desperation of retailers and women is getting palpable. Enjoy.

I failed to realize in my youth that I was the prize. I was going to work. I was going to earn. Little did I realize that due to feminism, that no longer meant I had to share. Road soon, Desert after.

I doubt this will become a thing, woman cannot handle failure and rejection, especially after a lifetime of being told they are special and men are garbage.

If there’s 1 thing a woman hates, and really there are many, it’s spending their own money on a guy. That defeats the whole purpose of getting the guy in the first place.

This commercial definitely reflects mens’ increasing desire not to get married. On the one hand, I doubt women are going to ask men to marry them if they significantly risk rejection, but they might very likely do it if they think the guy is a fence straddler and isn’t going to do it on his own. It would also have the added benefit of immediately placing lil’ pumpkin in the driver’s seat, establishing that the guy is her mangina from day one.

We just don't realize life's most significant events while they're happening. Back then, I thought, "Well, there'll be other days". I didn't realize that that was the only day. - "Moonlight" Graham

Oh yeah, and noticed that she placed the ring on HIS finger. That allows him to assume the financial burden associated with buying HER engagement ring, which of course, is one of the world’s worst most horrible investments, not only from a life choice standpoint, but from a diamond resale perspective too.

I think that most women will think that it’s beneath them to ask a man to marry, and chances are if he’s not asking than he’s NOT interested, but hey those EXPEN$IVE USELESS rings don’t sell themselves. LOL LOL LOL

In the end all bubbles burst.

Men’s awakening has merely stopped the renovating jobs on wall-stricken women.

I been NFG soooo long I don’t remember the last “Jared,” commercial I seen/heard. The last one I always used to hear was when a woman was showing her new ring to another woman and then it says “He got it from JARRRRRED !!!” They SCREAMED “Jarrrred,” like they both did a double hit of Cocaine while mainlining a shot of Crystal Meth. Made me laugh every time I heard it.

From a sales perspective; it’s good. Think about it: A LOT of young men are on the fence about getting married these days, so why not persuade the woman?? Or, Maybe SHAME the male into a proposal. Whatever works!

Marry again, Hell NO ! ( Even JESUS was hung on a cross just once)

I would not be offended if a woman knelt down and proposed to me… but it wouldn’t change my answer. Ha.

However, you will never catch me kneeling before any woman, ever again.

Boy needs to get that ring appraised immediately. Then trade it in for a motorcycle, dump her ass, and ride off to freedom.

they might very likely do it if they think the guy is a fence straddler and isn’t going to do it on his own.

I’ve seen women try this s~~~. They don’t do it in the middle of public restaurants. They do it in front of all their friends and relatives to show off and especially to try to have all them present to shame him into proposing back.

    Diamonds are forever.

    Naw.

Trust me, there are plenty of ways to end a diamond.

    Customers are NOT.

Truth. Especially when your business model is essentially parasitical, like the entire diamond jewelry industry.

I would not be offended if a woman knelt down and proposed to me

    I would take offense.

Her proposing marriage means she’s not actually interested in me after all.

It means she’s only interested in taking my stuff.

If they assume the financial burden of the spouse then they might get a few suckers to say yes. I bet if a man did trade the ring and run his ass would be locked up!

Women will not be buying expensive rings for men either. They will be going online to ebay to get a metal ring for 7-8 dollars and that is what they will give to the guy while saying it cost hundreds.

They wont go to jareds and overpay.

Women want everything, but want responsibility and accountability for nothing.

If a woman is going to kneel in front of me, she better just have her mouth open.
