Don’t worry about it, pabsawake. I don’t understand modern technology either. You should see my cheap cell phone. It will crash whenever I try to get on the internet. I just use it for phone calls and texting—and I make about 2 phone calls a week. My laptop computer is used for the internet, mostly. Occasionally, I’ll use my printer.

I’m sort of a book worm. I like to read books during my free time. I understand my job well enough to make money for my bills. Other than that, I don’t know how to fix anything that’s broken: an engine, a computer, or a leaky faucet. I have no specialized skills whatsoever…other than typing and playing the guitar.

But consider this for a moment: we all used to be 10 years old. How much did we know at that age? I’m 10 years old when it comes to computer programming. But if I read some books and practice doing something technical daily, I’ll know a lot in a few years. We can learn a little bit about any subject every day. Time is a great resource.

Personally, I’d rather live in a world with people who are smarter and more knowledgeable than me. I can’t learn anything from ignorant people—and my city is saturated with them!

To be honest guys i do get where he is coming from. But i dont care but i do get what he is trying to say.But once again there will always be a variety of us and we are all different but if this was not all text and we were all talking in real life in a room things would be different. OP’s topic was about not feeling qualified or technical enough to be a part of this group. It is exactly because of the numbers of men, pooling their resources and experiences collectively, that we are able to make out the elephant, piece by piece, that is the lady.

There is strength in numbers. And our resource and knowledge base grows as a result of more members. OP may feel that he is not technical enough, or in some way lacking. But I assure him, he is certainly not.

Instead, he is contributing to the whole, which we are.
