I Do Not Take Drugs – here's why.

First the conclusion: I will take drugs, if, and only if, they are to save my life, meaning a cure for an infection or disease. I will not take palliatives, meaning muscle relaxants (Flexeril!), anti-inflammatories, or painkillers of any description.

Here is my anecdote to justify this. One of my grandfather’s sisters, a great aunt, was in a home. She was “senile” they said. I can testify that she was bats~~~ crazy. She was given to outbursts, sometimes violent. She thought I was a boy she knew as a little girl. She conducted conversations with invisible people (no cell phone).

One time her doctor went on vacation and forgot to renew her prescription for her painkillers. After a few days, she came to herself again. Her mind was sharp, her memory clear, and her wits as quick as they ever were. And she was in pain.

Her doctor returned from a golf resort in the tropics (it was winter where we were), and he quickly put her back on her “medicine.” She went back to being bats~~~ crazy.

As for me, I would far rather be in pain than just plain nuts. I’ll take sanity every time!

P.S. I do take alcohol and caffeine. I’m not made of wood.

Drug companies are getting rich pushing drugs on people to cure the problems of society. Depresion, anxiety, stress and all the physical symptoms associated with them. Stress is giving you head ache? No problem, take this pill and get back to work.

Nurses can’t stand it when I’m in a hospital and refuse BS medications that only make me feel better without being better. Give me all the Dilaudid and Zofran that you want, that’s not going to help me go home any sooner. If anything it will make me stay longer. The whole thing is a scam. Some drugs are escapist. But Some let you see real reality. I thought you agreed with that premise, because you said you could do THAT without drugs. That being “unplug from the matrix of intergenerational lies”.

They make you THINK you’re discovering reality, but you’re not! You’re just plugging yourself further into the matrix. If you’re already in a false reality, taking drugs would be creating a false reality within that false reality. A matrix within a bigger matrix. You’re moving down instead of up.

Drugs weaken you and force you’re body to be reliant on expensive products. If you need to take drugs for something like digestive problems, pain relief, headaches, w/e it’s probably because you aren’t healthy.

Maybe you eat like s~~~, maybe you don’t get enough sleep, maybe you don’t work out, maybe you don’t hydrate enough but if you take drugs all you do is cover the problem. You don’t fix it and the problem will just develop into something more serious.

Everyone want’s a quick solution no one want’s to put in work and get to the root of the problem.

I definitely avoid taking drugs unless it’s caffeine or alcohol. The only times I ever took pain killers is when I’ve had dental work done or when I broke my arm as a teen. Otherwise, I even try to avoid pain killers as much as possible.

I think hospitals and doctors push these other kinds of drugs on you in order to keep you in the hospital bed more.

Unless the drug will save my life or actually make me better, I refuse to take it.

As I said previously, I disagree. Some drugs make brainwashing fail, thats why the establishment panics about lsd and weed, even though alcohol destoys millions more lives.

Yes, but it is ultimately the drug of sobriety and rational thought that makes brainwashing fail. Please take a step back for a moment and consider the following.

Consider that hashish was used in the past by medieval world saracen Assassins to lure, confuse and subdue their targets.

Consider that throughout the second half of the 20th century both the US and British researched into using entheogens as a tool in warfare.

Consider the many musicians and writers who were visible leaders in their communities throughout the late 20th century were either convinced to or forcibly dosed with LSD by government-connected double agents to subdue the leftist anti-war agenda and popularize these notions of drug taking to free your mind; not only a means of stifling the anti-war message from the top down but also to get the population to self medicate and lose grip of their own anti-establishment ambitions and dreams.

Popular names such as Ginsberg, Burroughs, Elvis, the Beatles, Jagger, Joplin, Cobain, Tupac, et al. have all been influenced, or their careers cut short, by either coercive or surreptitious introduction of drugs into their lives by individuals connected with government agencies. And now everyone seems to believe to be creative you must be an alcoholic or take drugs, post hoc ergo propter hoc.

Finally, consider that while it is a personal choice whether or not to use drugs, these choices are more often than not dictated by the idea that someone wiser than you is informing you of the best choice. This is exactly the same in the pharmaceutical world as the underground.

In the underground one follows your own niches and cliques and groups to find your own gurus and fonts of knowledge based on the most rational argument. Please be wary – this does not allow you to escape any third party manipulation just as blindly following your favorite doctor’s advice to pile up medications gets you no where further away from the pharma industry, or closer to solving your issue.

Both parties are more concerned with success by pushing drugs for profit or manipulation as opposed to a holistic approach to health issues and wellbeing through exercise, nutrition, sleep, etc.

These are just my thoughts on the issue, you are free to take them with a grain of salt.
