Read the posts again assume he was a women, look for a point, there is no point from that angle. If fact, it would be a very anti-feminism. The posts are saying that he sees what women are and just accepts that is the nature of the beast. They go into marriage for money and semen and leave it for money and no more need for semen. He has read the posts here and sees that there are many of us that experienced the same situation and we mostly turned out happier. Also, a true John Wayne type does not get emotional in public. I think the issue might be that he has done something that was not the stated cause for the divorce or even something she knows, but he knows he was not pulling the weight that she had expected when she signed up.
