Some of these homeless people refuse to better themselves. Drunks, drug addicts, lazy f~~~s, and whatnot.

Never feel sympathy for anyone, unless you know their background.

There’s a drunk in my neighborhood, when he decide to work, he gets paid $600+ a week. Funny thing is, his dad is the manager. The dude doesn’t give a s~~~ about life. All he does is drink cheap beers, get p~~~y drunk, gets robbed, and falls asleep behind the building where his parents lives.

And, he have a daughter.

I don’t a f~~~ about the homeless.

What will they say when these people start invading stores, taking what they can and leaving the town for another target?
And how long would they possibly keep them in prison knowing they’d be better off on the inside, all at tax payers’ money, than dying in the streets?

At the same time, being poor doesnt mean they are more virtuous than anyone who isnt poor, or that they are better people because they are poor and homeless.

No one today on this site takes in homeless people into their own homes or lets them camp out in their yard. Including you. I would take in certain family under extreme conditions, but not strangers.

Fining a homeless person is like trying to get water out of a rock. And putting them in jail is providing them a home and 3 meals a day . Not really sure this is solving the problem.

The thing is you don’t know what you don’t know. One of my friends is a Dr. and when doing his residency in L.A. he was required to do mental health as one of the many Dr. disciplines he was required to work with the homeless. He befriended a homeless man with a severe infection and it became obvious this man was over-the-top intelligent and highly educated. Over time he learned his story. He was a Dr. of Physics and taught at the university for years. He came home one day and wife and children were murdered in a home invasion. The police immediately tried to pin it on him even though there was evidence to prove he was not guilty they Arrested him out of laziness. They eventually caught the criminals but he was financially and mentally ruined by the L.A PD, court costs and lost everything including his family. His hated for society was so deep he refused to be apart of it ever again.
What MGTOW could not understand a system ruining you so badly you can’t recover?

It’s too easy to say that the homeless are lazy useless eaters!
Your worthless opinion isn’t going solve anything.

I met many homeless people and they are no different than you or I, just regular folks getting the shaft by a system only interested in what you can fork over.

Many homeless are that way through no fault of their own and the ones who look down on those poor souls have already lost their place in Heaven!

Help them if you can or don’t help them if your heart is so black that you would forsake your own brothers and sisters in favor of a system that enslaves even you.
But don’t find excuses to close your eyes on the injustices these people were faced with!

Many folks here have observed similar things about homelessness. One thing is clear. It’s not a one size fits all problem, or solution.

In my rat hole city. That’s turning more and more into New Dheli every year. I’ve met homeless men that are clearly drugged out of their mind when they’re awake.

Other homeless encampments, are where small time drug dealers peddle. It’s almost impossible to give those guys a huge sentence in these marxist cities. So they choose to live in a tent or small rv. Squirrel away money from the authorities, and big dealers can’t easily steal from.

Then there are the homeless men that get shuttled from psyche ward to psyche ward all over the nation, US. One of my fellow officers worked in a hospital. He described to me when one of the guys just ‘woke up’.

These guys go through stages in my observations. Docile, violent, peeing nuisances. Mostly it depends on how hard they’ve ground into the concrete.

At this point. I have a mixture of pity and anger at them. Though when I’m honest with myself. I don’t like being so close to poverty myself. That at this point I can’t make a significant impact on an individual case.
