So where do we go from here? To me, it’s clear: we need the many good men of the world to step up to the plate. We will all need to find our way in this new era, but it is essential that men in senior positions “lean in” to the problem. Do we want a world where no one feels comfortable giving a compliment like “I like your dress” or “Nice tie?” Of course not. Do we want an environment where people think twice before making a sexist joke? Probably. Do we want someone to fear getting fired for a small verbal lapse? No.

Men all over are stepping in to the “problem”. And we even have a solution already fashioned. which is we want to be left alone by you. At least as much as is practical.

We cant operate in an environment where a woman’s subjective interpretation of a man’s action can cause him to lose his career, good name and face potential legal problems.

We cant operate in an environment where one day its ok to say to Sally, nice dress, and the next week that gets us reported to HR.

WE wont operate in an environment where women have to be believed and men are relieved of their jobs before there is even an investigation.

What something to change. Women should “LEAN IN’ to fixing the problem they made.

And the solution has to encompass more then just telling guys that here are the rules us women have set and you have to follow them to be a “good” man.

My suggestions:

Divorce laws rape men and it is so obvious and readily apparent that it is the source of all kinds of jokes on sitcoms and by stand up comics. That’s the fun side of it, the jokes. What isn’t fun is how unfair they are to men and if you want to reconcile the genders, address this glaring unfairness.

We’d like to see women object to college’s that require men to set through orientation programs that at the heart of it, consider male sexuality to be predatory, or maleness to be toxic. I would go on but that would probably be labeled mansplaning.

We’d like Due Process to be restored to our young men that are accused of rape or sexual assault on college campuses under title 9. Right now the young men stand accused, a vast army of support is given to the woman, and the young man stands alone. he is often not allowed to confront his accuser, often doesn’t learn of the exact nature of the charges until right before the hearing, and cant have legal representation.

Please address affirmative action programs which basically mandate that if your have a vagina, you must be represented in equal numbers as those that have penises. Does this seem a strange way to determine who is qualified.

There you go ladies, what to start a conversation with us. Lean on in to this. These are three rather easy ones actually. I picked them because they are so uncomplicated, not messy in any way.

As I’m typing this I have the news on in the background. I just heard that Cory Booker, Democratic Senator, asking the female head of the Department of Homeland Security the questions she was there to answer, the purpose of her job.

They are accusing him of mansplaining to her. He says that he’s a Senator and it’s his job to ask tough questions whether a man or woman. No one cares what he has to say.

Fox news just spent 15 minutes on this manspaining issue.

Women are starting to slowly realize that using guilt to get men back to do their bidding for them is no longer going to work anymore.

They’re trying to act like they still have the upper hand. After all they have the pussy that all men want/need.

I read the linked article. In all honestly I have to say the author has described the problem accurately and objectively. I’ll give her that much. Her proposed solution–tasking men with formulating suitable accommodations to female careerism– is a different matter.
