Hey guys sorry for the noob question, but how do you message another member on here?

Anonymous43click on a name in the left of the screen. look at the lower left, see the bell, I pmed you.
participants have a limited capability 5 pm per day?, ghost is unlimited. ghost costs $5 a month. I pm 15 guys every day.
use contact to ask admin for details
Also, regular members cannot initiate pm’s. In order to respond, they need to have someone message them first.

Anonymous43oh, did not know that

So you have to be a paying upgraded member to have the ability to pm? Is that correct?
The evil in women’s hearts leaves them no moral bounds as to inhibit them from descending to the lowest levels of darkness to acquire their self entitled desires.

Yes, although you can respond to a pm if a paying member contacts you.

Let me see what can be done about that next time we’re in the PM feature, I’ll have a look at the character limit. It may be fixed for a reason , so I need to find that out before adjusting it.
It’s much higher than twitter (for example), but you can always just post to the limit, and post another one.
If you keep doing what you've always done... you're gonna keep getting what you always got. Also, new members cannot initiate pm’s. In order to respond, they need to have someone message them first.

Yes this is to prevent new members from initiating PMs to ask for your email, contact info, or solicit (or whatever) before they are even established members yet. It’s one of the reasons for the member tiers and a way for us to tighten privacy for you.
You also have the ability to say (in your settings) “I only permit people I chose to follow to PM me”. Also another good privacy thing.

PMs start glitching after a certain amount of PMs with a particular member. We can only see new messages once we delete older messages. Each message has to be individually deleted. Both sides have to do the same. The entire message thread cannot be deleted either so we eventually cannot PM with each other without having to delete older messages, one at a time.
Thanks

Well, in it’s current form, in regards to non paying members, it does make things a bit of a hassle. Esp for non paying members who need to message someone important. Maybe a feature could be added where a free member is allowed to initiate one (1) message to a member a day. This would cut down on a lot of the issues, and still maintain for the paying members, their status of being able to mass message on the site.

Pete you don’t mind if I PM and start practicing German with you?
