……are missing whole or partial parts of their fingers/thumbs due to work place accidents?

I work in the blue collar field and over the decades I have met dozens and dozens of such men.

But in my entire life, I’ve never met a single woman who has lost digits due to accidents at work.

    Just something to mull over.

I know way to many missing not only fingers, toes, but whole limbs and parts of their face even. However, you are right. EO means nothing in jobs that take real work.

I made my first weld in 1978. I have been welding since then. I have all my fingers & toes, but I do have quite a few scars. No job is worth being un safe for. I have worked with many who have lost parts at work, all had gotten complacent, then got bit.
Steel is like a woman, it don’t care, it will kill you, or cut you in a heart beat. Same goes with industrial machinery, or even your car. Just keep that in mind, one must have his own back, no one else is there 24/7.

    1 perhaps two.
The one for sure worked at a factory. One day a machine got a hold of his wedding band and ripped half his finger off.

I’m a blue collar guy myself. I’ve seen a lot of old herd bulls and warhorses all twisted up from a life time of labor. The thing is us men get up and carry on. Life is a collection of scars. I myself have fallen from roofs, broken arm and ribs, taken nail guns to the fingers, and most recently, a chopsaw (gas axe) to the face. I gotta nice big scar from that one.

If a women sustained the same injuries at work men do, f~~~ the crying and lawsuits would never end.

I worked with a man who was missing the tip of his index finger. I asked him how did you lose your finger? He said, I didn’t it’s right here. Then he pulled a baby food bottle out of his pocket containing said finger in a solution. Don’t ask questions you do not want the answer to.

I guess I should make a correction. They cut my knee out, and replaced it with an artificial one two or three years ago, so I guess I AM missing body parts. Yup, work related. Really screwed up my karate career.

Any moment now, the women will be out in the streets marching wearing their pink hats to protest the gender workplace accident gap.

Oh hang on, they’re all still narcissistic entitled snowflakes.

Women’s rights responsibilities. Until women start to look at their responsibilities and sort out their crazy harpy sisters, I want nothing to do with them. And that’s their problem when they die lonely old crazy cat ladies.

May you walk in peace and happiness, May you and all mgtow, near and far walk in peace and happiness.

While I also know many men who have survived both minor and major workplace accidents, they all continue seeking to remain employed and relevant.

I have seen several women at hospitals and the VA receiving care, but all seem to be on Medical retirement or living off an insurance settlement.

The hardway is filled with integrity and honor for an accident “that just happened”, while the easy way continues to be filled with scorn and a sense of entitlement “for something that was done to me”.

I had an uncle who had a wood shop at the house. He was missing several pieces of different fingers. I also worked with a truck scale mechanic who also a diver. He was missing a couple of fingers from work related mishaps over the years. We used to joke that he lost those fingers feeding sharks down at La Jolla cove. I’ve never lost a body part…except for my appendix.
