I would certainly decriminalize sex between consenting young persons within a certain age range of each other, maybe 2 years difference. No teen should face prison for sex with another same age person, all things being equal. And I am fully cognizant of the bias against males in these cases as the ratio of prosecutions and actual prison time is much higher for male perpetrators than female.

But socially adult males should stay away from not-quite socially adult females in their mid to late teens.  I’d say once a female is at college age, she is alright for any age. Heck, I plan on hitting spring break spots when I’m in my 50’s, to enjoy the scenery, if not partake of what nature has to offer.

But until American kids are allowed to grow up-not soon likely if our current mommy-state trajectory continues- then it is appropriate to exclude persons under 18 from sexual relations with fully mature adults.

I think adult men should avoid girls under the age of 18. Even though an adult man can legally have sex with a 16 year old girl in some states (according to age of consent laws) there could still be some kind of sexual harassment lawsuit from her parents because she’s a minor. When she’s 18 years old, everyone assumes she’s giving full consent to sex (except for the rabid feminists) because she’s an adult who’s free to make her own choices.

There’s a double standard here:

If you have high social status, you can get away with all sorts of crazy stuff. It wasn’t uncommon for rock stars to f~~~ teenage girls under the age of 18 in the 1970s. Elvis and Jerry Lee Lewis had underaged girlfriends. Nobody calls them perverts today ’cause these guys are rock n’ roll gods. To me, lusting after teen girls is natural. But, as an adult, I know that a relationship with these girls will just lead to trouble. Her parents and other self-righteous people will tar and feather average guys who just want to have some fun. I’m not advocating that anyone have any sort of romantic/sexual contact with any girl under the age of 18 ’cause our American society has evolved into a bunch of psycho man-haters.
