Well guys it’s 2 days left to midnight new year. Some of us will be at home or at a party or have his “wee-wee” shoved down a women’s throat. Of course some of us simply do not give an ostrich.

Me personally I travel to this place to get some peace for my mind.

Highest point around where I live

I sit there with a couple of glass cokes and 2 pizzas. Just sitting there and think about what I have done this year, how far I have come and how far I will go while gazing at the night sky.

How do you guys celebrate your new year?

I’d love to be in a lodge with a hot tub, looking out on a view like that. Drinking a beer.

No hotties though, been there seen it done it, not worth the effort.

With the mother at the half-repaired apartment. I dragged her out of there on the Hollydays. It will be the first time we spend the New Year not in the town.

Russian family tradition – dress up and at midnight raise a glass to 2017. Then sleep a lot.

Actually Russian tradition is to drink all the night long and walk on the streets. Then sleep until the evening of the next day. And dress up again and visit to friends or relatives to keep on drinking. Yep, that’s how it goes. Only grannies go to sleep after the midnight.

This is in Norway close to where I live. I like to be at the highest point in an area when I am alone.

That is so cool. My Grandmother came from Skreia on lake Mjosa and my Grandfather was from Telemark area. Visited a place called Glomstad on a vacation. My Grandparents on other side of family were both from Gudbrandsdalen.

wait till midnight and fall asleep.
champagne is chilling as we speak.
the left over champagne will be cooked and reduced for a champagne-cream sauce to be put over …
    here’s a video

this sauce can be put on fish, shrimp, beef, whatever you like..over weiner schnitzel..fried thin cuts of veal breaded..delicious.

Hmm. Not sure yet. Perhaps my favorite liquor, or sex, or fap, or a good James Bond or Star Trek flick, or a surprise, OR all of the above.

After 4PM Saturday, my dad and I are going to my aunt’s house, with my grandparents and other aunt and uncle showing up. We like to party. We make fine meats, lobster, crab legs, snacks, lots of drinking, playing games where we win lottery tickets. At midnight, we watch the countdown on ABC7 Chicago News of the ball dropping down, ringing in the new year. In consideration of all the drunks on the streets that night, none of us go home; we stay at my aunt’s house overnight. For breakfast, the next morning, we gather at Cracker Barrel as a family, where it takes like an hour to get in.

For 14 years, I want to have my best friend over for New Years to do the same thing, but he keeps making lame excuses to get out of it. That’s fine, because 2017 will be the year of JUSTICE while 2016 was the year of REVENGE.
