I came across this video and it was an interesting question the sponsor asked. Why in places of hardcore feminism and gynocentric cess pools are real estate prices so high, and is there a correlation? I would say yes and for many of the reasons given in the video. The biggest being a simp will accept massive debt to please his woman’s competitive hypergamy. In this case the hypergamy being a bigger, better home. Thus driving up the housing costs. When she divorces him the payout is bigger for her.

    Brothers,

Before I even watch this video. The reason why I believe house prices are insane, is because men have been pressured by society to one-up other men and prove their “masculinity”. We MGTOWs are happy with the small things in life, so if the general population of men had a similar mindset, there will be no insane house prices, far less mortgage foreclosures, far less suicides etc.

Oh BTW bothers, have a look at this:http://www.realestate.com.au/news/a-tiny-14sq-m-darlinghurst-studio-has-sold-for-a-whopping-350000/

This 14sqm (150sqft.)shoebox, in Sydney Australia, sold for $350K AUD. The s~~~ter is right next to the kitchen sink. A piece of land on the outskirts, 42Km (26mi) away from Sydney city, is asking for $600K+, just the land.

My MGTOW friend has bought a piece of land far away from the city for $89K and we plan on building a house there and living happily. I will not work like a donkey for the rest of my life.

A tranquil mind is neither happy nor sad, it is uninfluenced by external conditions.

Housing rides the marry’go’round just like a woman rides the c~~~ carousel, many rotations, the turnover is high, the houses no longer remain in the patriarchal order in the patriarchal family being handed down for generations.

The home is now an industry controlled by bankers and the corporate investors that secure the loans, the home never becomes wholly owned by the patriarchal family, it’s turned over with all the costs and hustle bustel associated with the transfer of title, it ends up in default eventually instead of a roof over people in a good strong stable society.

The day of the white picket fence in America is vanishing into a wasteland of one payer public housing in a sea of abandoned homes and empty lots.

The rural areas are rotting away faster than the termites can eat the old abandoned dwellings. I have one right next door with the roof caving in and a junkyard of abandoned vehicles.

We’re not going over the edge like some people say, the edge was yesterday, now we’re in free fall!

F~~~ it! I always liked an exciting ride that you don’t know if you’re gonna live or die! GIVES LIFE FLAVOR!

    Absolutely
Minimalism is how to be happy with what you have and not suffer looking for more than what you need. A woman can drag you into her hypergamy dogma very quickly. If you find yourself holding her purse while she tries on shoes that she will pay for with your money, you need a better life.

If you rescue a damsel in distress, all you will get is a distressed damsel.

It sure is. Every time I see a single person around here buying a house for themselves…its like why? Property taxes here are among the highest in the country and property values are higher than average as well. Most the ones who do this are women who make themselves house poor when they sign the mortgage contract. It seems like a lot of men are far more happy just getting a small rental or buying a small condo/trailer where as women want to go out and buy a house their husband would have historically bought and slaved away for for them, only marriage rates are imploding and these post wallers know they won’t find a wallet to buy them a house anymore.

That is the way to do it. I’d never buy a house where I am now…if I do at some point in the future its going to be somewhere down south or out west where I’m going to get a lot more bang for my buck and pay less taxes.

I think there are a few other reasons that feminism caused housing prices to rise.

One is that in addition to wanting more house then they need, they also tend to be less interested in buying it at the lowest price. To a woman, part of the appeal of the luxury item is the price itself. A $280k house isn’t as nice as $300k house…even if it’s the exact same house.

Related to that is the constant desire for more then what you have now. She will be more then happy with the house she gets right now, and then feel that she must upgrade 5 years later. That’s partly to keep up with Jones, partly to feed her retail therapy desires, and partly because she made poor choices in choosing her current home.

Feminism has also increased demand for homes. When a woman divorces her husband, she just created a demand for one more home. Where there once was one, there are now two. Two of everything for the most part. I sometimes wonder if politicians are unconcerned about the divorce rate because it’s effect on demand.

    Ok. Then do it.

I’m sure there is correlation between feminism and rising home costs. Feminists want bigger gov’t/more protection. Gov’t says OK, but we need more money to protect you.

I believe most of the fault lies with the increases in property taxes every two years. Around here, every school levy passes every f~~~ing time, which leads to more property taxes.

Mine were around $3500, and increasing every year, in a 60 year old home, in a neighborhood trending downward.

The neighborhood next to mine, same school district, $8K in property taxes on a $200,000 home.

Also, here in central Ohio, there has been an explosion of apartments being built. Which tells me that the builders are making more money on apartments than homes. Since renter’s don’t pay property taxes, this probably causes a rise in taxes as well.

It is a seller’s market now, 6 years ago it was a buyer’s market and I made out on a great investment.

There is no way in hell I would buy another home right now. Most are going for asking price or above. Mine sold for a few thousand over asking price.

So there are families just starting out, wife and husband want a home but are forced to pay asking price for it. Great that they have a home to raise a family, but not necessarily a great investment.

Wrong. The owner(s) pay property taxes, and as property taxes rise so do rents. Renters actually get the shaft in this regard because not only do they pay property taxes, just using their landlord as a middle man, but their landlord also gets the tax write off for it.
